Towns , Wiggins, Rubio, Adrean Payne, Anthony Bennett, Gorgui Deing, Zach Lavine, with KG as a mentor and Kevin Martin and Pekovic as trade assets. Saunders has done a great job.

No brainer, really.

Okafor is a tantalizing talent, but Towns seems like a better all-around prospect in the new perimeter heavy environment.

I agree, he has put them in a great position after catching a lot of flack early in the rebuilding process. If they were to add a couple of decent vets that team could contend for the 8 seed if not this year then next.

was thinking the same thing.  just missing out on the playoffs in the West isn't as farfetched as was once considered when they traded the pick
