Yup kind of how I see it. I like SJ more than Winslow, because hes always been a winner. But even the best collegiate players cannot translate their game over to the pros, whereas Mario has all the traits and tools necessary to do so.

Hezonja can be a knucklehead with some of his decisions, but he doesn't have a low basketball IQ like other gunners and he's actually talented enough to make his antics forgivable. Most importantly, he works hard off the court and loves the game.

He has a polarizing personality that fans will always struggle to reconcile with his play. At worst, he could be a knockdown shooter in a limited role. But it's his killer instinct that has teams dreaming he could end up being so much more than that.

Hezonja was asked earlier this year if he went to go see soccer legend Lionel Messi play for FC Barcelona. He responded: "Let Messi come to see me." That quote sums him up.

Whether he's a hero or a villain is up to you to decide.

Hezonja reminds me of Peja Stojakovic. A top shooter from spot ups and catch and shoots but limited as a ball-handler which limits his value as a scorer in one-on-one situations and in the pick and roll.

I think he is a guy who can get you 17-20ppg at his peak and hopefully play solid defense. As a 2nd or preferably 3rd option, I think he can be really good.

Not a fan of his handles, but I think drawing a comparison between Peja and Hezonja on that regard is off. Hezonja is quite the superior ball handler and more explosive as well, so I wouldn't pigeon-hole him into a spot-up/catch-and-shoot player. Though shooting off the dribble is something to work on.

I don't know he'll end up being as effective as Peja was as its peak, as he was simply deadly when he could get off a shot, but I think his ceiling is quite higher with all the rest he brings to the court plus explosiveness.

I've only seen him in limited instances, but I think his ball handling and playmaking ability is something he as in him at least at a competent level.

His shot reminds me of Carmelo's shot, and they both always look like they're going in.

The lack of minutes / production scares me.

I see the upside, but what's his baseline?

I would be so happy if we drafted him. Have been saying it for awhile that he has all the tools to be a deadly guy in this league. Hope we can get up to get him.

If you can get him, you have to right?  I mean bring back Datome and we might not win a championship, but think about Princess Peach.  If we get a white Mario and Luigi on the team, my kids are in for life.
