What would the story be if he was at Fenway?

The same amount of people who believed Love was a lock to Boston last year when he popped up in Fenway around this time of year.

I actually think Love is fully concious of all of this and just plays with us.

I'll say this... last year depended on a trade, this year Love is/could be a free-agent.

The difference last year was there needed to be a trade.  This year, Love can opt out and sign with the Knicks if he wants.  I agree that this is partly if not largely posturing by Love but I am sure that signing with the Knicks is a real option.

Let me get this straight, a guy who seemed unhappy playing with LeBron would want to sign long term to play with Carmelo instead?

Happiness is never touching the ball?

If this is true, really starting to question KLove's motivations and IQ

I thought according to all the know-it-alls on this site, Love going to the Lakers was a done deal.

Same know-it-alls who said Jeff Green wasn't going to opt out of his deal because he could get over 12 million on the free agent market (lol!!)

Now, Love is going to the Knicks?

Make up your mind.

He was last year, remember?  And the story was similar to what you're trying to make it right now.  So many people jumped on the Love to Boston bandwagon just like New Yorkers will now jump on the Love to the Knicks bandwagon.  The situation was a little different because last year when he was in Boston he was still a member of the TWolves and couldn't freely sign here.  This year he can do what he wants.

Personally, I take it with a grain of salt.  I think he's looking forward to being courted by teams and is taking full advantage of it, and then I also think he just likes baseball too.  He'd be an interesting fit though there.  Not sure how many times they'd be able to hold an opponent under 100, but offensively, they could be fun to watch.

Melo and Love would be a funny pairing. At least Lebron plays defense. Lol
