His shot looks nothing like Ray's. Ray had(s) a big pronounced hop. He's is not stuck to the floor like Kevin Martin but comparing him to Ray is completely mental. I don't know Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. about mechanics, but he does not look like Ray. Great athleticism though. Definitely take him if he slides to 16 and there are no decent trades on the table...

I'll grant you that he does have the best shooting form in the draft, only rivaled by D'Angelo Russell's shot... However, Brad Stevens says he wants 3pt shooting but also versatility, besides having good size Idk what else can this kid do...

I am a fan of Booker but we already have several guards.

Bring on the hate! lol

Mark my words he will be a future All-Star and steal of the draft.

His shooting form is perfect and very reminiscent of Ray's, he has length, underrated athleticism, passing and defensive ability and I think because of his very restricted role at Kentucky he won't be drafted where he should.

https://youtu.be/vFAFiqKw0rc

As mentioned in the first video he comes from a very intelligent family (father also a former pro) and his brother is a coach from Yale and the vid demonstrates Devin's vision and passing ability.

This shows how fluid a mover and his footwork he has and the raps the training staff have on him.

I don't think he's is an instant franchise guy given his age and he isn't really a shot creature yet but you can't pass up that type of potential.

I still stand by my original statement haha

This is a kid who barely played at Kentucky and originally got very few minutes at the beginning of the season for the Suns and already you see the huge strides he's made on the defensive end and how quick his stroke is. Against Miami he was essentially a one man team and despite being 19 (not 20 till October) had the confidence to attack the basket with his cuts and drives and tracked Wade very well on defence.

I really hope Danny tried to trade up for Booker at 13 because he is in my book the steal of the draft and the perfect modern scoring guard/forward who will only go from strength to strength as he adds to his game.

This makes him different from Ray, IMO.

His DRPM is last among all shooting guards, that makes him different than Ray.

His form looks nothing like Ray's form. Nothing wrong with his form, but he doesn't display Ray's hops.

I don't understand the need to jump straight to Ray Allen for comparisons.

Booker backs it up again with a 27 point night with 9 assists.

Thank god for Booker other wise I don't think Brooklyn could catch Suns in the loss column.

I really commend you on bringing intelligence, wit and statistics to the conversation  ::)

When was Booker ever compare to Curry?? You do realise this kid is 19?? Have you even watched him play, looked into his attitude in interviews or how he practices?

This is the thing I dislike about this forum is that some people seem to want to talk at or attack others without bringing anything to a topic other than attitude.

I see the form, but Ray Allen has a much quicker release. That can probably be fixed though, but he's gonna have a lot of challenges if we draft him.

He has Hunter, Rozier, Young, Smart, Turner to beat out to be in that 3rd or 2nd unit. Let alone Bradley and IT for starting.

You do realize he was drafted last year and that he is playing for the Suns in the NBA right now?

Just not completely sure if you are kidding or not.
