shocker, you picked Mickey.  just say no to undersized players that play out of position

yup. Say no to Tristant Thompson,  Taj Gibson, Leon Powe, Carlos Boozer, Draymond Green

Does Mickey have the motor those players have/had? That's what made those guys excel, except for Boozer who relied on strength and skill.

Are you ever going to watch the lsu vs kentucky game to find out for yourself?

Mickey has the motor. A guy who has little to no motor wont cover ground to block a shot out of nowhere. Run back to provode transition defense to block a shot.  Be a pest and fight to deny entry passes from start to finish

I'm with you triboy. Based on previous drafts, think Cs may elect to draft for someone with more upside at 16 and pray Anderson somehow falls to 28. I'd be pleasantly surprised if they did take him at 16, though, as I don't think there is much upside at 16 and he isn't dropping to 28.

Surprised by Booker's drop, too. What are your thoughts there?

You realize that a few plays, or a game, that shows effort doesn't mean a player has a consistent motor, right? Mickey simply doesn't bring it every game.  Does he have the drive and work ethic of those players? That's why simply grouping players together because of their height, without taking into account other variables, is not a wise approach.

Booker is going anywhere from 12 to 19 imo.  He had a solid freshman year. But at times was pretty passive on the court.  Not sure about his ability to defend stronger/athletic sgs. Create shots vs good defenders.  Then does he mainly become  a spot up jump shooter?

Imo he will fit in better with a team that has a good system in place like the hawks, celtics, spurs, gsw.  Good teamwork,  team defense, team passing, make the open shot.

I'd really like this draft to be something like this for us and a lot of the other team's choices fall into the it should happen so it probably won't category. Here goes.

1   1            Minnesota Timberwolves   Karl Anthony Towns Jr
1   2            Los Angeles Lakers  Jahleel Okafor
1   3            Philadelphia 76ers   Emmanuel Mudiay (Philly historically looks for explosive wing talent)
1   4            New York Knicks DeAngelo Russell
1   5            Orlando Magic     Justise Winslow
1   6            Sacramento Kings   Willie Caulie Stein
1   7            Denver Nuggets   Kristaps Porzingis Potential Franchise player at 7
1   8            Detroit Pistons   Mario Hezonja
1   9            Charlotte Hornets   Stanley Johnson
1   10            Miami Heat    Frank Kaminski
1   11            Indiana Pacers   Myles Turner
1   12            Utah Jazz   Trey Lyles Fit's the culture
1   13            Phoenix Suns   Kelly Oubre
1   14            Oklahoma City Thunder  Cameron Payne
1   15            Atlanta Hawks (from Brooklyn)  Devin Booker
1   16            Boston Celtics  Justin Anderson
1   17            Milwaukee Bucks   Rashad VaughnRead on hoopshype they wont let him fall past 17
1   18            Houston Rockets(from New Orleans)Jerian Grant Immediate complimentary impact to Harden
1   19            Washington Wizards   Bobby Portis couldn't ask for a much better successor to Nene
1   20            Toronto Raptors   Jarrell Martin
1   21            Dallas Mavericks   Tyus Jones
1   22            Chicago Bulls   Kevon Looney
1   23            Portland Trail Blazers  Sam Dekker another shot maker in an increasingly dangerous shooting lineup.
1   24            Cleveland Cavaliers   Rondae Hollis Jefferson
1   25            Memphis Grizzlies   RJ Hunter
1   26            San Antonio Spurs   Montrezl Harrell Spurs always seem to find sleepers around this spot.
1   27       Los Angeles Lakers(from Houston)   Christian Wood
1   28            Boston Celtics (from L.A. Clippers)  Jordan Mickey
1   29            Brooklyn Nets (from Atlanta) Cliff Alexander
1   30            Golden State Warriors Cedi Osman GS gets the best draft and stash wing IMO
2      33                             Boston Celtics Terry Rosier
2      45                             Boston Celtics Chris Walker One of the best bodies in the draft though his brain could use some conditioning

Probably will be way off but I'll make sure to go back and amend these picks after a few years have passed.

Like your picks. Walker is a nice grab at 45

Thanks Triboy, ya Walker is the definition of a late round flyer. Bolded my favorite picks, A lot of teams have potential for some immediate high impact players.
