I think LAC getting rid of Hawes is a steal, Lance only has 1 more guaranteed year, must be awful teammate.

This would be good for Lance, he will have to grow up. He needs a coach like Doc and players like CP3 that will keep him in line, they are older and have been to the top (Doc). If he does grow up, that's a steal for Doc the kid is talented, he could be the missing link if their bench doesn't stay bad.

To be fair, Hawes was out of the rotation by the end of the regular season and Barnes was a guy who shouldn't have been starting this year. It's not like he's getting rid of quality depth.

Doc is a horrible GM. Bringing in a locker room killer with a terrible outside shot and in the process thinning out his roster. The Clippers are never going to legitimately contend, Deandre Jordan should walk away while he can.

Maybe for a team like the Boston Celtics this would be a chance to take on Stephenson, but losing two rotation players for a chance on Stephenson for LA?

Stephenson needs the ball in his hands to be effective, but so does Paul and to a lesser extent Griffin. That team needs a wing who can shoot and spread the floor around the non-spacing bigs of Griffin and Jordan. Hell, Stephenson might be a worse shooter than Barnes. Adding another high-paid, non-shooting, ball-dominant guy and losing decently paid depth is not the direction they should be heading.
