Would you trade bradley for stanley johnson?
Would you trade sullinger for myles turner?
Lets say we can get those guys with those trades.. are we a better team? No
could we have more potential maybe... maybe in 2-3 years..
i think the celtics and especially the celtics fans do not apreciate bradleys and sullys value.... riley and bird would do these trades at once... but they are smart to get even more...

I don't think us as a fan base really want to wait 3 years to get a shot at the title. Id stick with Bradley, he is more of a leader of our team now, mainly a reason as to why we made the run late in the season.

I think I would. Sully and AB just don't have the potential to become stars that those two do. If we could sign a major free agent, then things would be different. But if you can't, then make those two trades, take Looney at #16 and you're looking at a core of:

Smart
Young
Johnson
Looney
Turner

And that isn't even accounting for our treasure chest of draft picks. You could use those to upgrade at PF and SG.
CB Mock Deadline - Minnesota Timberwolves
Kemba Walker / Tyus Jones / Aaron Brooks
Jimmy Butler / Jamal Crawford / Treveon Graham
Rodney Hood / Nic Batum / Marcus Georges Hunt
Taj Gibson / Nemanja Bjelica / Jonas Jerebko
KAT / Derrick Favors / Cole Aldrich
Picks - 2018 CHA 1st (Lotto protected), none out

This is a lottery team
agreed, promising but will land us with probably the 5th pick in the draft. Would get better after a few seasons though.

Yes but with that 5th pick plus the nets pick we will have a ton of young talent by next year. This gives us a lot of options to trade some of them for stars, or let them grow as a team. Right now we really don't have young talent, we just have a ton of picks. Also it keeps money off the books so we will have a lot of cap space to use in the summer of 2016 when the contracts increase. It's one more rebuilding year, but it would keep us out of the mediocracy we are heading towards if can't sign a big star. Because we won't be able to trade for one, and the talent we have on our roster right now just isn't good enough.

We don't have a choice. Making the playoffs was stupid, stars own the playoffs and actually start to try on both ends. Bradley IMO will not be with us for our next championship.

3 years to have stars and win a championship would be great....but we have to keep winning championships, because that is who we are.

If C's didn't make playoffs no one would have a big issue with these moves. I understand C's got lucky and made the playoffs. This was already suppose to be a multi-year rebuild. So taking a step back is no issue for me. I still dont think AB and Sully nets Tunner and SJ though. Maybe you can get one of the two.

I'd give up AB, Turner and Sully for Lance, Cody and the 9th pick.
Take SJ at 9.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I don't like turner and like sully  so I would do that trade

I would trade Bradley for Johnson as I am high johnsons potential and think that Bradley has reached his peak as a 3D player that offers veteran leadership

I think Ainge might do this one.  I do not think the other team would.  Potential is a word that is thrown around lot without people understanding it.   Sully does not have much potential left.

Sully maybe doesn't have much potential left but he is already a very productive NBA 4.  And he is 22.  Leaving his health/condition issues aside (I would not be surprised if he is trade for these reasons specifically)...he was probably the best all-around player on the C's last year.

You only trade him if you are getting pack someone who you know projects to a higher production (i.e. Okafor).

Maybe best all-around offensively but he was terrible on D. People don't like AB but he was closest to best all-around player that we had. He was productive on both ends. After the all-star break he was even better in all facets (shooting % stayed pretty much the same but ft% went down). He wasn't better than guys in most areas but as far as doing a little of everything he was solid. You can take things one stat at a time and there are better on our team in comparison but take it as a whole, he did some of everything. If you want to say someone other than AB, that's fine but no way can it be Sully b/c he didn't play one end of the court! Ask CBS or look up what he said when Sully was coming back from injury.

It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)
