Dude is 7'1", according to his DE interview.  Will be curious to hear how he looks in his Vegas workout today. Very well spoken.

I predict he will be a better pro than Okafor.  Lakers will regret their choice....

1% chance he's better than okafor. High bust potential imo. Too skinny.

Draft Express just posted four videos from his work out.  He certainly looks impressive.

I don't think there's much bust potential, contrary to what others say. He could end up a PF rather than a C due to skinnyness but that is fine. Fact is that shooting + athleticism + shotblocking is a rare combo of traits, and he will almost certainly carve out a role in the NBA with that mold. He is not an exceptional freak in any one area, so I'm not sure he has quite the upside of, say, WCS or Hezonja. I see his upside as a #2-3 option on offense who can also provide very good defense.

Ford has him as the 2nd best big after Towns. Pelton has him as the 3rd. I'm also interested in Turner and ESPN's Ford and Pelton both have rated him above WCS according to a piece today.  If doctors are OK with his legs he could rise yet.

From the videos I've seen of Porzingis, he looks very good, can shoot some distance and he actually plays some D. I'd be surprised if he's not a much better player than Saric for example or Bargnani.

We haven't even seen Saric in the NBA yet, why the implication that he's mediocre?

3-4 tweener who's not a great shooter in Europe. Watching the tape on both guys I'd rather have Porzingis and I did not want Saric last year.  Think he went higher than he should have because Hinkie wanted another year to tank, he could stash him, and there was no better foreign prospect.

That doesn't mean he doesn't have potential to improve or doesn't have skills (he obviously does), but Porzingis looks like a much better and surer prospect to me.

Seen similar sentiments for Saric on other sites. I think most Euro prospects are considered busts until proven successful.

Just watched video. The guy does not miss, even from 3 point line. Shoots 3's like they're layups. Granted not guarded, still, have to be impressed with that stroke from a guy 7'1" who has really good mobility.

I predicted at the beginning of the year, he would be a top 3 pick. Now I'm starting to see him go 1 or 2.  Curious to see what Chad Ford says in his next Mock Draft.

Yeah, and darko milicic was the man too remember. The big ticket was from the mean streets of the USA. You think Detroit wishes they took an American stud like Bosh, Carmelo or Dwayne Wade if they would have picked one of those guys they would have been in the finals 4 years straight. I'll take a euro guy after the American studs are gone.

That was one of the worst franchise changing draft picks in the last 15 years. If they draft Wade Detroit would have one 3 rings easy. Now look at them. Darko set them back ten years.
