Either player would make an impact on the C's.

If you could choose one?

Me...I like LMA even though he's a bit older, I feel he's a better defender and more athletic.

LaMarcus is a top 10 player in the league.  He's older, but has had fewer injury issues.  I'd definitely go with him.  I think he's got it in him to go on a Nowitzki-esque run in the post-season one of these years, if he has the right supporting cast.

Give me LMA.

Kevin Love averaged 26/13 in his third year. That number alone is **** out of this world.

I still say Love is the better fit purely due to spacing and age. Aldridge is the better player but he doesnt necessarily fit our system perfectly like Love does.

Love please.  More range on offense, better rebounder, better passer.  And he's younger.  Is Aldridge better on defense? Yes.  Is he the elite interior defender we need?  No.  Accordingly, I'll take the guy who helps our offense more and is without question the better rebounder.

Honestly, coming from a forum that is obsessed with our offense pushing the ball up the court, I can't understand why you wouldn't want a guy who's the best outlet passer in the game who also vacuums up rebounds.  Just pair him with a DeAndre Jordan and everything will be a-okay.

I think LMA gives you more flexibility in terms of the supporting cast you can put around him...with him being the first piece of the puzzle I think that flexibility is valuable.

Love, because he is younger and could be around longer.

The real answer is whoever is willing to come here.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Yeah, but he isn't really the first piece of the puzzle.  If we were building from scratch, fine, Aldridge.  But our roster fits better with Love currently, because he can give us what Olynyk and Sully do, but significantly better than both.  Guys like Crowder, Smart, Turner don't fit with Aldridge as well, and even Bradley to a lesser extent, because Aldridge doesn't create the floor spacing needed to give range-challenged guards and wings the space to operate.  And while I'm willing to stipulate that in an ideal world you would say role players shouldn't decide your star, it's not an ideal world.  Aldridge is on the wrong side of 30, and bringing in an entirely new set of guards and wings will take time, both to add to the roster and acclimate to each other.  It would certainly be a two, if not three, season process, to build a roster around Aldridge.  And at that pint, he's 33 with a year left in his deal.

If we get Aldridge, I'll try to do a handspring to celebrate, because it would be great, but he's not the best fit for our current team, and it might just take tookng to create that future team.

Love might fit better but Aldridge is better. Id rather Aldridge because I have more questions about Love.

That being said, if we sign either I will be really really really excited.
