the crowder comparison is terrible.

Its not the worst comparison in the world. Both are very strong and rather quick, but lack elite explosiveness.

Johnson is a better shooter, better shot creator/scorer, and has much more athletic potential.

Crowder on the other hand is currently a better defender, leader, and finisher.

Although there is no reason to believe Johnson can not eventually surpass him in all 3 categories.

Nobody with half a brain, at least.

Yeah, nobody ever claimed Aaron Gordon had offensive skills. They just raved about his defense, athleticism, and great attitude. Sounded a lot like MKG, and has done about as much so far.

Well, there WERE all those Blake Griffin comparisons...hahaha 

No doubt there were a good number of people comparing him to Blake Griffin, raving about his fantastic ballhandling skills and how he was such a hard worker it was a given that he would become a really good shooter.

I still stand by my original comment above.
