Time for the dellavadova lose ball roll over Curry's knee and the perk open hand to the face strategy ...

...and if the queen had balls, she'd be the king (no, not that "king" :) )

Hell, we would've three-peated but for all our injuries with PP/KG.

I agree with both statements, and I don't think there's anything wrong with fans being disappointed when injuries derail a championship season.  Whether it's Hondo or KG or Shaq or Perk or Rondo, it stinks seeing guys suffer injuries that create "what if" scenarios.

I feel for Cavs fans, and for Varejao, Love, and Kyrie individually.

I'm all in on rooting for LeBron in this series.  It's going to take a Herculean effort (stat heads are calling this golden state team one of the 5 greatest of all time).  I don't see it happening, but I'm excited to see him try.

After seeing game one....  You're not the only one rooting for the messiah ...So is the NBA and their officials.  Even though I'd predict a sweep....Because of the officiating...Every game will be close.

He put up a Herculean effort in game 1 (with Kyrie playing for most of it) and it was not enough, and I don't think the Warriors played as well as they did against Houston.

Lebron is a machine, but he is not enough to beat the Warriors team.  If Lebron wins this I will stop bashing him to my Lebron loving students and finally accept him as one of the top 3 players of all time.

If the Cavs were fully healthy, I'd still pick the Warriors in 7.

Would be a competitive series, but the Warriors are a very good team; clearly the best this season.  They deserve it.  The injuries change nothing about that.

I don't feel too bad for the Cavs.  They've got LeBron and Kyrie moving forward.  They'll be fine.  Better off for the foreseeable future than the Celtics, that's for sure.

Also, about the injuries -- the Cavs are a very talented team built on a frequently-injured foundation.  Is it really so shocking that Kyrie, Love, and Varejao are injured?  These guys have all suffered major injuries that caused them to miss large parts of seasons in the past.  Bad luck that they all ended up injured at once, but still, roster building requires taking that into account.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

This is a big reason why I'm so thankful for 2008.  We were blessed with good health (for the most part - we did have quite a few playoff injuries but nothing really serious).  From that point on we just couldn't catch a break.  Having to sub in Scal in place of an injured KG as a starter might have been the biggest downgrade in NBA history.  Seemed like every year we'd roll into the playoffs majorly depleted.

I don't feel too bad for the Cavs.  If injuries derail their title hopes on a yearly basis while LeBron is still in his prime, yeah I'll feel a little bad.  Not for their fans nor their organization, but actually for LeBron himself.  He's proven his greatness.  Even though I dislike him, he does deserve another title.  Everyone else... not so much.  Especially Gilbert.

As everyone said, if LeBron pulls this off he has shut up ALL the haters. I think the Warriors may have caught a tiny break in the home/away schedule change this year as well. Lebron is definitely going to be ECF Game 6 mode tonight count on it, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cavs win this won just on guts.

Could you imagine going to Cleveland for 3 in a row with a 1-1 series tie? That's pretty tough to overcome. I don't care winning 2 games on the road in the finals is TOUGH.

So my point, the Warriors are going to benefit most with this changed format.
