Great night at our favorite restaurant in #Paris.

There is no Rose/Butler tension.

Just wondering...was it Rose or Butler who told you that??

Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

So we should believe your common sense over the various media reports that have covered this tension? Seems logical.

Tension between the two would make more sense to me than not. There are a ton of variables at play, including the question of who is "the man." Butler puts the team on his back and makes significantly improvements during Rose's injury, and then Rose unexpectedly returns to near old-Rose for a few playoff games. If there was any kind of tension between the two before, this situation would likely exacerbate it.

not sure if it's just coincidence or what, but I've never seen a bulls game where Butler had a good game...or at least a good enough game to where i'm obsessed to see us get him.

I don't watch many other games besides the Celtics. but every time I've ever caught the bulls this guy was unimpressive.

Chicago would probably want to get Butler at a max this offseason rather then next year when the cap will go up.

So signing him, we would be helping Chicago out as they would 100% match the offer sheet. I rather not do them any favours.

That's not a reliable source.
