TP for the tweets - I think Boston fans should legitimately get their hopes up this year for a big splash. Unless Danny decides to cash everybody in for more draft picks, we should have a much better team next year. Aldridge would make a great addition!

[Edited.  Posts like this are specifically against our rules.  The post you objected to was 20 times more insightful than yours.  -RH]

That is a bold statement that Aldridge 'would make a great addition', really going out on a ledge with that statement, do you have any more hot takes to share? I feel like my basketball knowledge increased 110% after reading this insightful post, please keep sharing these hot takes, this is some hard hitting stuff!
Be nice.

"The summer of Aldridge" doesn't have the same ring to it as "The Summer of Love"...But, I'd take it.

Got my hopes up last summer when Love was chillin' in Boston. Not gonna fall for this again. Boston in the summertime is a big tourist attraction. He might be her to sight see or something...
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Don't want to get ahead of things, if Aldridge did sign up, without anymore major additions where would you rate the Celtics in the East?

I'm all for the delusional dream. It's not like we have something else better to hope for at this moment. Bring on the gossip, it's entertaining.

A friend of mine snapped a picture with Tony Parker in Boston last night.  Apparently he was there for the Kevin Hart show, cause Hart is performing all weekend here.  Completely plausible that's why he was here.

We can always hope.

If this is true, then he is courting his options.

I'd be shocked if his journey doesn't end in San Antonio, though.

I am certain if he gave BOS a chance Danny would put a nice team around him, and some of the pieces are already in place for that, thankfully.

Sign Aldridge or love

Trade up for Stanley Johnson

Trade AB , sully or ko and Wallace to clear more cap space to sign another max and pick up future draft picks

Pg: IT.          / Turner
SG: Smart   / young
sf: crowder / Stanley Johnson
Pf : Aldridge/ ko or sully
C: Gasol or Jordan / zeller

This is a trip with either basketball or having fun in mind, so Aldridge either likes the Celtics as an option or comes here for fun. Who said Boston's nightlife stinks?  ;D

We're basically Miami or Los Angeles now!
