Imagine if Lebron still wins the series against this Golden State team...that would solidify him as the greatest of all time without a doubt.  I'm still rooting for him.  Tough luck.

Wow. Snakebitten.

I was totally rooting for the Warriors anyway, but I also feel sympathy for Cleveland fans, who haven't been able to celebrate a title in a dog's age. I also feel bad for Kyrie.

As Celtics fans, though, even though we've had much to celebrate over the years, we know what the injury bug feels like and we often wonder what could've been if it wasn't for things like:

1) Bias
2) Lewis
3) Bird's back
4) Bird's bone spurs
5) McHale's broken foot
6) KG's knee
7) Perk's knee
8 ) Rondo's elbow
9) Rondo's knee

If LeBron somehow, against all odds, leads Cleveland to a title this year, I'll have no problem and no hesitation calling him the best player ever (though I hope that doesn't happen).

10). Rondo brain being turned off and no,defense

LOL. TP.

Wow. He was great in G1 too. This year's injuries have been rough. Couple of teams have lost star players, or close to, for the entire season, or at bad times.

Well, at least LeBron can say he didn't have enough help again.

How bad is a broken knee cap long term?

How well do players recover from it?

I believe Blake Griffin missed his rookie season with a broken kneecap, and he hasn't had any long term issues with it, as far as I am aware.

Got a feeling LeBron will go 50-17-11 in this series and win at least one game.

Feel bad for Kyrie, because he's actually a humble, likable kid. But like others have said, I don't feel bad one bit for Lebron or the Cavs organization that has had so much luck in the lottery and everything else the last several years.

The real question now is this, though: how does this affect Love's feelings towards staying? Unfortunately, I'm guessing it's going to make him want to give it another shot with the Cavs hoping for less injuries next year. But who knows, maybe he hated being reduced to a role player enough that he'll look for greener pastures.

I try and put myself in Loves shoes ......and it just does not compute to want to stay there in a BAD marriage with the Diva.   i couldn't do it .    .....I would come closer to staying in Cleveland IF LeBron opted out .

You know Bosh had to feel unloved ......with Wade and Bronnie

So Kevin a Love is in the same boat .......three stars .....but not all is equal.

Bummer for Irving.

Lebron show even more now.

Tired of watching him push off on the jumpers and hook in the post nearly EVERY SINGLE TIME he goes to score. He might have the highest average ppg ever in a series, though. Good for jersey and merchandise sales I suppose.

Just think about Kyrie's game.. it's centered around quick cuts and taking defenders off the dribble. Every play is a step back or a herky-jerky move - this must slowly eat away at his legs over the course of a season.

Much rather build around good team ball than relying on a single player or two to create every open shot.

Unfortunate for Irving, if the Cavs can't get a W in either of the next two games I look for a hamstring injury to the King and sitting out game 4 of the sweep.

Last night the announcers stated that LeBron did not have these post up moves earlier in his career---I think he just learned how to PUSH OFF with his off arm EVERY single time he makes a move---and Somehow the refs do NOT call it...it's amazing really.

It's a bit worrisome that he managed to actually break his own knee cap without hitting something or falling, or being hit, just really by making a mis-step that was not even with a head of steam or at full speed. Makes you wonder how much wear and tear was on that knee to begin with.

On top of it, he throws a fit when they actually do call a foul on him once in a while.
