i mean, what else is he supposed to say right now (if he even did in fact say it)? I'm not reading too much into this. Almost all of the major NBA news guys claim that he's virtually a lock to leave or at least will consider leaving.

It's not "shall", it's not "I will be".

You might as well insert "I think I might be" there. He can't say anything else timing wise.

Every single comment Love has made on the subject says he's coming back to Cleveland.  It doesn't mean a lot, obviously, but neither do the speculative reports of Brian "Lebron is never coming back to Cleveland, and if he does, Kyrie is definitely gone" Windhorst.

The expect was suiting up for game 1, not playing for the Cavs.  There was no limiting language on that part and he certainly could have qualified that part of the statement.

Meh....

I think he ll wait and see how the finals turn out.   If  Cavs win ...he could say ...well ok ..they really don't need me ,  next year could be the same ...LESS LOVE court time or more of the same .

Then he might say .....hum.....I ll do a  Ray Allen job and glum on to LeBrons coattails ...let him win me a few rings.    I don't think he is like this ...but maybe he is ..I don't know.

Or if  Cavs loose..... He might say screw it ....more of the same third fiddle role .....not my team .....they might never make it over the hump.

I do think LeBron can't go a super Hunan power and throw the team on his back and carry them more than another 2 or 3 years ...eventually the physical gift will fade.

I've always expected Love to opt in this summer and look to cash in in the summer of 2016.  Maybe it is with the Cavs, maybe not, but either way I've always thought he would be back for next season.
