he should be with marcus this summer, playing one on one--working on his right hand and in weight room-if he can improve against marcus defense and marcus can work on first step and crossover and against youngs wingspan-hope young isn't acting 19 and chasing skirts  and driving a sports car-

Maybe he is driving his sports car with his girlfriend in it to practice. ;)
Hopefully he at least turns out in the summer league this year.

I would have had a VERY depressing youth without doing the same .

I can't cast stones.   ;)

Not to take this yo another sport, but this is one reason I'm still ticked with the Bruins for dealing Seguin.  He was young and needed to live and mature.

last year there was a pic of evan turner with his red ferrari out of gas on major highway with a female in front seat- there was evan pouring gas almost in middle of highway after a friend rescued him.
now that move was as bad as some of his passes, that should have been a huge red flag-

I hope Young is working and on the things you listed, rollie.

He said he models his game after TMac. If he wants to be a TMac kind of SG, he needs to show significant improvement in his handles, as well as his midrange game.

I hoped he would go in another direction - the "Ray Allen school" of off-ball movement SGs. His game needs less changes to do that. Alas, I've rarely seen him move without the ball. It is always running to the right corner, soft cross to the left, go back on D.

Off-topic, but if an offer for Young comes at the draft day, I am trading him straight away. There are at least 15 players in this draft I'd much rather have on the team.

Y'all are laughing, but it's sad. I go home and deny the wing."

It certainly does seem like a little "radio silence" from the Young/Celtics camp regarding their plans for him this off season. Yeah, I heard about Brad's comments but if I remember correctly they left the door open for anything describing Young as someone who they believe will develop into a bright, young talent...but they sure avoided mentioning with what team. I don't know, blame all the posturing by GMs, players, and coaches for how I analyze every single word that is reported  :P

I mean, he worked out quite well for us considering how much he was paid. Hopefully he finally has enough to keep his car filled up!
Long-form is far from dead, but please refrain from paragraph-laden posts! Who wants to read that?!

Wouldn't blame him for running out of  gas, those cars get about 14-17 miles to a gallon; they really eat the gas up. As for having a girl in the front seat, Why not?

He's still jogging in slow motion to get back on defense.

Some say he's still jogging to this date.

Some say if you stand in certain spots in the Garden, you could hear his footsteps.

He needs to work on defense more than offense.  If he continues to be a bad defender, I don't think he deserves a role bigger than scorer off the bench.

  • Celtic's only raise championship Banners
We have to remember that he was ordered from doctor to not lift or run or shoot or do anything for a good amount of time last year. Then on top of that he missed summer league and camp and preseason.

That's a lot. Dudes.

I'm with you. He doesn't have the size or strength to defend at this level yet (maybe I'm pessimistic, but I don't think he ever will). Should probably be on a healthy diet of protein and hate, and forced to throw/be thrown around by large, heavy objects for the foreseeable future.
