I am still waiting for the Celtics to actually do something other than waste and collect these picks and cap space. Right now, this team is full of undersized role players. Rozier...I hope he never plays a minute in Boston.

6'2 , 6'8 wingspan and 38 max vertical.

Looking at how the draft is unfolding , looks like good pgs are a premium.

Rozier has a higher upside than grant, wright.

Ya'll think we could get Philly to take on the Wallace contract if we give them Hozier?  I have my doubts... PHilly prob wants to use their cap space to fill in the roster around the 3 phenom towers.
Noel. Okeafor. Who's the 3rd one?

When you consider it within context this is my vote for the worst pick Danny ever made. Fab at least was a 7 foot rim protector as was JuJuan Johnson on draft night.

This explains why Ainge was trying so hard to move up and why it didn't happen

The worst part is going to be the moaning and wailing and gnashing of teeth that we made the playoffs because we could have had the 9th pick (whoop de doo.) But Ainge probably would have fudged up that pick too. Kaminsky isn't making this team a championship team folks.

You know. The one that hasn't made it to the court yet

Could have traded down for him - no?
Got to figure it's either a pick for another team or AB is being traded.  Can't see the reason for keeping him without a follow up move

No, I think this is Ainge was not able to trade up to #3, #6 or #9 for players that were falling (or at least wasnt able to trade up with a package he deemed reasonable), so he selected the player he viewed as BPA. Time will tell. But not what I was expecting, that's for sure...

I can't fathom how he would think this kid was BPA at any point before the mid-20's.  someone's got to be on the way out in the backcourt before the season starts

Can't wait for the stash the Euro trash pick at 28. What an epic failure this has been.

What is the point in having 4 or 5 guys that are the same? This bum, bradley, smart are the same players...

What about addressing the wing?

One thing I'm sure of after seeing us pick Rozier, there aint no trade involving 16 that has yet to be announced. That guy was not chosen for any other team, he's all Danny's.

Think of a point guard version of Monta Ellis (slightly smaller, but stronger and even more athletic), but who plays NBA caliber defense and plays hard on every play.

So, think of a player I'd rather have instead of Monta Ellis?

People are p---ed about picking 16. So losing a few more games and pick 12-15 would have made everyone happy?

Yes

What kind of real fan picks the name tank city?

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I like the pick.
Rozier is an insane athlete with a super high ceiling on the offensive end, whilst also being a great defender.

Danny realizes he needs to swing big by skipping these role player types like Portis, Dekker etc...just sucks he couldn't get Winslow.

This guy wont help us win games next year and we'll stink...without Bass and an Evan Turner trade, we should pick top 8 next year.

Whatever helps you sleep at nite ::).  It's a horrid pick.  Period.

Who would you have taken at that position?
I like the balls it took to take this guy. Have you seen Rozier play?

He's swinging for the fences with pick#16
You may not agree with my top 8 pick in 2016 sentiment, but you don't know what you're talking about to call Terry Rozier a 'horrid pick' with #16. It's a great pick. High risk, very high reward.

Think of a point guard version of Monta Ellis (slightly smaller, but stronger and even more athletic), but who plays NBA caliber defense and plays hard on every play.

But we could have had him at #28. He's a borderline second rounder.

You want a high risk high reward player? We were probably better off taking Upshaw at #16. He's also high risk, big reward, but at least he fills a need. Rozier is coming in on a log jam. If we do trade any of our guards, he has to be really impressive to take time away from Smart, Bradley and Thomas. If you think he can be much more special than those three, then please convince us why, because he's not getting time on the court with those three in the court, which makes this pick a total waste.
