Stevens' influence on draft?

Well, with Ainge being sick, lol , he could have a bigger role than anticipated, what with him representing us at the combine and all.

How does Ainge being sick make you "lol and  "? How is that funny?

I think he's saying that Ainge isn't really sick, and that it was their plan to send Stevens all along, so 'perhaps' Stevens will pick who he wants and not who Danny wants because it always Stevens choice.
At least that's how I understood it. I think the word is sarcasm?

No - if it was sarcastic, I would have indicated it as such.  I just think that the timing of him being sick coinciding with the draft combine was strange and funny, but to each his own.  I'm not suggesting that Danny isn't really sick.  Geesh, tough crowd . Besides, lots of coaches, as well as gms, are always there, as was Stevens last year.  You guys are really over-thinking this, imo.
