He's a scorer and a really good shooter. Honestly did not have a good rookie year so maybe we buy low here? I think Sac might bite if we offer #16 for Nik.

He would fit really well in our "Lets just bomb away threes" kinda system. Also has good size for his position.

I'd definitely trade 16 for Nik. Question is, would Sac?

My bad. Not sure where I thought #10 was coming from.

Slipping 10 slots in this draft is dropping down one whole tier of player, maybe two. SAC would probably need some serious financial relief to do that.

Edit. I read a quote today from a euro-nobody that shooting college threes is like shooting mid-range in the pros.

I'd do that in a heartbeat.  Stauskas was a rookie with three different head coaches, who each lasted about a third of the season.  He really wasn't well-utilized at all for most of the year, as Malone and even moresl Corbin just tried to make him a spot-up shooter.  He's a much more complete offensive player, and it was tough for him to get going.  Karl let him play on the ball a bit more and he responded better.  If he'd played in that system the entire year, I think you'd have seen a different player.  And I think he'd be great in Stevens offense.

Interesting you mention that. I'd bet that as of this time last year, McLemore was viewed just as negatively as Stauskas is now. Shows you how things can change.
