The only way the Cavs lose the trade is if Love leaves, which I think is pretty far from a given.

His hobbled team without him just made the ECF and would have easily been heavy title favourites if they were healthy! Of the core players, the oldest is Lebron (30) while everyone else adds up to an average age of 26. His owner has no issues going into the luxury tax to win. They have a legit 3-4 yr title window.

But didnt you know he wants to throw all that away (for less money at that) so that he can go back to putting up stats while having ZERO chance of even making the Finals not to talk if winning a title. ::) ::)

He doesnt want to play the Chris Bosh role, because you know, Chris Bosh would trade his 4 finals and 2 rings for 4 straight yrs of putting up stats and missing PO/getting bounced in the 1st round ::)

Was actually supplementing your point. Everyone is so convinced that Love is adamant to leave the Cavs. Well everyone without an agenda that can apply simple logic to the situation

Yeah, Love isn't leaving the Cavs.

Playing in Cleveland gives him:

1.  The most money;
2.  The best chance at a championship for the next 3-4 years;
3.  The most exposure

With those things come fringe benefits like a better shot at the Hall of Fame and additional endorsements.  Also, of course, Love is still young; he'll have the chance to hang stats as the #1 guy later in his career if he so chooses, much like Bosh.

Much being said about Love/Wiggins than the now great move Warriors did in not biting on Love and keeping Klay Thompson.

Yeah, for their team Draymond Green is a better fit, and Thompson is an integral part of their championship hopes.

Probably one of the best non-trades in NBA history

I think Love is going to the Lakers or Celtics.

It looks like the hang up in the trade was a future pick or Barnes.  http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/11108483/golden-state-warriors-add-klay-thompson-possible-kevin-love-trade

Would have been an interesting dynamic in Golden State if it was Thompson, Lee and a future first for Love and Martin.  And how fortunate is Minnesota that the trade didn't go through and they end up with Wiggins

I think CP3 to the Lakers is the one that resonates the most for me (as far as recent NBA history is concerned).
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.
