//According to ESPNBoston.com, the Celtics will first eye their current roster. A trade of Gerald Wallace is a top priority considering the veteran will earn $10.1 million next season. The next move will be to retain Crawford and potentially Brandon Bass. Meanwhile no one else is really safe from trades. That means players like Jared Sullinger, Kelly Olynyk and Evan Turner could be expendable considering that team-friendly contracts. So who are the Celtics eyeing to bring in for 2015?//

What really caught my attention was her conviction that retaining Brandon is a top priority.

Danny has been trying in vain to trade this man for the last gazillion years.

TP for honesty. Normally even if you guess you can get something right, but this article literally gets almost everything wrong (except everyone is expendable, which has been Danny's MO for a decade now).

1. The Cs will not give up anything of value to get rid of Wallace. His contract is going into the final year and therefore is useful for matching salaries in trades. They only pay to get rid of it if they need the cap space to sign a second marquee free agent.

2. Crawford? Huh?

3. Bass is gone. He's been a trooper for the Cs, but has no place with this team long term.

I don't see us getting rid of Sullinger if he played like that during our most important games (Cavs series) unless we get a difference maker in return. Olynyk maybe, he could use a change of scenery after that unfortunate injury he gave to K. Love, I'm worrying about him right now... how is he mentally?
