The Celtics have a very bright coach. Just look into his eyes, he's never out of control. He's not an ego driven coach, like Pat Riley, or Phil Jackson. He's very well spoken, direction isn't screamed or wordy. He's always simple and concise. He's always, and I mean always, keyed into the game for all 48 minutes. He's either rooted in the moment, or thinking about the next play. His players pick this up from him, and as we witnessed, played over their heads. If he makes a mistake, you'll never see it again.

The choosing of Brad Stevens as coach, gives me faith in our GM. Hiring CBS has to be one of the best decisions Danny ever made.

No doubt about it, Stevens is this teams MVP.

Danny has put up an MVP performance as a GM these past two seasons.  Pulling Brad Stevens was an MVP move, and both Sully and KO were impressive draft acquisitions given how late they were drafted - there were many players who went before them who haven't come out to be half the players they are. 

Then you look at the Pierce/KG deal (which most people felt was in Brooklyn's advantage at the time) plus all the modest players he picked up (Zeller, Crowder, Jerebko) who seemed nobody's, but ended up playing key roles in leading us to the playoffs.

Finally getting Isaiah Thomas, who has huge for us down the stretch.

Credit where it's due, Danny is a mastermind.  The work he'd done over the past two seasons is right up there with the moves he made to bring Ray and Kevin to Boston in 2008.
