Find the next Middleton, don't overpay Middleton now that he's blown up.

I hope the C's target young guys with the chance to blossom in a larger role.

Ajinca, Bismack, McDaniels, and Robinson fit the bill best.

Problem: none of them is a particularly good shooter, so would they find playing time on this team?
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I would take 6.   SF/PF Tobias Harris, Orlando, Restricted and 3.   C, Bismack Biyombo, Charlotte, Restricted if I had my choices from that list.  Though 8.   C Robin Lopez,  Portland, Unrestricted and 9.   SG/SF Khris Middleton  Milwaukee, Restricted ain't bad either.

McDaniels is IMO a Crowder who can't shoot.
Bismack can't shoot, that's true, but he would plug other holes in our roster.
Ajinca is an interesting prospect, especially if he comes cheap.
Which of the two Robinsons do you refer to?

I would add Paul Millsap to this list

He would be a HUGE upgrade at the 4 and would offer him the max.

Maybe Atlanta wouldn't match.

Also, I seriously question why some of these names are on the list

Alexis Ajinca?

Glenn Robinson?

Bismack Biyombo?

Al Farouq Aminu?

Really?
The focus is on second tier FAs, check out the original conversation.

My apologies Greece!

To answer your question, Robin Lopez and Tristan Thompson.

Lopez because we badly need a center and Thompson because it be nice to have an athletic rebounder playing the 4.

I think Biyombo is the right type of player to take a chance on to continue our youth rebuild that won't be an overly expensive player. Charlotte has pending free agents Jefferson and G Henderson to worry about as well.  If we offer say a 3 year 20 to 24 mil contract maybe Charlotte doesn't match or maybe at that point we can work a sign and trade.

I would look into Aminu as the Jonas replacement as he is younger, similar style but a little more upside.  I don't think he will cost a fortune either.

The David Lee proposal is tempting and GS needs to clear room to sign Green.  Lee could play the Wallace mentor role but at least he still has some very solid game left.  Instead of the future first I would see if we can pry away Harrison Barnes first and maybe make the deal larger with Turner going there, or something like that.

I have a feeling we are going to strike out with the big names this summer so a route like this I'm fine with and patient.   Hopefully we get more lottery picks next summer (Nets & maybe Mavs, longshot Wolves) to give us more ample assets for bigger moves.

I'm a big believer in TRob's potential.

Develop him!  Kid is such a beast. Can't he at least become a Ben Wallace type? I think he has potential to develop offense, but d should be no problem.

I hope Danny will sign both Biyombo and Harris. They will fill our lacks and weaknesses last season.

IDC about Biyombo's height or Harris' defense. I could see Ben Wallace into Bismack's future, and a potential Melo/young Pierce into Harris.

Then upgrade our PF spot. Sign-and-trade Aldridge for Sully/KO, ET, Wallace and 1pick#16 (i know you're thinking, but this is just my dreampipe lol)

I don't know what will be our salary cap with this lineup, I'm not good at math and english though.

Thanks and sorry for my bad english

I'd love Biyombo.

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.

Cap space: $24 mil.

Hmmmm, I think yes. What is his current contract situation?

Having said this, I could make a  similar ' first tier' agents for the C's thread if enough ppl are interested (it would take lots of time).
Koufos, Lopez and Middleton probably belong in this category anyway. And we could add some others like Aldridge.
