Kevin Love is out for the season following shoulder surgery and he could have already played his final game with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers had been hoping that Love would have an opportunity to make his mark with the franchise during the playoffs.

"Love hasn't been super willing to play that (Chris Bosh) part," said Wojnarowski on the Dan Patrick Show.

"He's going to look at free agency. I think he's going to look at other teams."

Love also could opt-in for another season and become a free agent in 2016 when the cap increases.

"There's a legitimate fear with the Cavs that he will just walk."

Do the Celtics have chance of getting him with all that happened?

Having Love will have a great domino effect on our entire team. It'll put other players in more comfortable/less pressure scoring roles. I also imagine that a Love/Thomas high P&R will be extremely difficult to stop. The amount of uncontested corner 3's off that would be insane as teams will be forced to have a help defender shade over.

You're really convinced he's going back to Cleveland, aren't you?

Who cares if Love walks when Cleveland can easily replace him with Amare Stoudemire (sarcasm), lol ;D?

I don't know what Roy is particularly referring to, but it was a bit weird that right after the Olynyk thing, Woj suddenly dropped the revelation that Boston had become a significant contender to land Kevin Love this offseason... and that all that was ruined after Olynyk's foul.

It felt like the equivalent of repeatedly asking your parents for a Pony.  You know it's a long-shot, but you keep asking anyways.   Then one day, your mom gets mad at you for leaving your room a mess and says, "See, I was totally going to get you a Pony, but you just ruined that for yourself"....  We both know we were never getting a Pony, Woj.  Why you gotta be like that?

Good for Love.  He's not good enough to be "the man" on a contender, but he's too good to be relegated to the Chris Bosh role.

Chris Bosh at least had the skillset to make a difference defensively at the center position.  Love ... not so much.  He really needs to be a bigger part of the offense to reach his potential on the floor.

Marc Stein reported that if LaMarcus Alldridge leaves Portland, the frontrunners to sign him are the Spurs... but that he could end up replacing Kevin Love in Cleveland.

Do the Cavs even have the money to sign Alridge? I know the Spurs do, if Duncan retires.

Isn't that impossible from a cap perspective (for next season only)?
