Monroe ... shoots reliably from 15'-17'.

This is actually not true, and it's perhaps the biggest hole in his game.

He's a career 34% shooter from 10-16 feet, 36% from 3-10, and 31% from 16 feet to the 3 point line.
I looked up his shot chart a few weeks ago. He shoots over 50% from that range on the right side.
Why he shoots so poorly from the left side is beyond me. I think would be pretty easy to work around that discrepancy.
Considering his age and skill set I think he's worth it.

I think he could be worth it, too, and with his skill level he ought to be able to develop into a more reliable mid-range shooter.  For now, though, he really ought to be used strictly as a center.

Lamarcus Aldridge shot 20.7% in 116 3PA in his first 8 seasons.  This season, he shot 35.2% in 105 attempts.  Paul Millsap shot 27.4% in 113 3PA in 7 seasons in Utah.  He has shot 35.7% in 428 attempts in 2 seasons in Utah.

If you are looking for someone who can block shots and hit threes, maybe you should look for a shot-blocking PF with a decent mid-range jumper and work on extending his range beyond the arc in select spots.

On a small sample size.  So small that his total percentages in that range are awful.  Additionally, he's historically a terrible shooter from the right side.  In fact, in 2013-2014 he was far better on the left side.  Either he developed a shot from the right side while simultaneously forgetting how to shoot from the left side this season or in both cases his "success" was random.  I'd bet on the latter.

You seem to think Bucks' mgt. are really stupid.
Not stupid, just cash strapped. Why would they pay Middleton a max contract when
they have Parker coming back and plays the same position? plus gianis and  MCW to pay moving forward.
Maybe $9M is to low but I'd be knocked for 6 if anyone offers KM the max after a half season breakout. If he keeps it up he'll get the max in his next contract but it would be a real risky move at this point.

I think the Bucks will try to make a go with

PG MCW
SG Middleton
SF Giannis
PF Parker
C  Pachulia/Henson

That is a extremely long lineup that has a super high ceiling can't see them not keeping that together.

This off season we have cap room, the rondo TE and some young talent to work with.
There are a number or FA out there and some potential trade targets.
However there are a lot of teams with cap room and some of the brightest lights will likely stay on there current team.
I propose the following moves. These won't bring us #18 but they improve the team and create assets that can be used to acquire the pieces we need to reach that goal.
1: Sign Greg Monroe at any number needed to bring him here. He has the strength to guard any 5 in the game, will be our leading rebounder and can be a go to option on offense. He's not a great defender but I'd say he's twice, maybe three times the defender of K Love.
2: sign K Middleton at $8 or $9 million per. An all around player who defends well, shoots the three at a high level and is a willing passer. An ideal fit in the system
3: trade for Henson. I'd be willing to part with either Bradley, sully, Zeller or Oly plus a late pick to get the young shot blocker. he provides the mobile weak side help We've been lacking.

The bucks may want sully to add some bulk in the paint.
If so we go into next season with:
Smart, IT
Bradley, Turner
Middleton, crowder
Oly, Henson
Monroe, Zeller

Resign Jerebko to augment the front court and bring young along slowly.
What's the verdict?

I'd be on board paying whatever is needed to get Monroe and Middleton, even if it means stapling a 1st to Wallace to get his salary off the books.  And that's a pretty good offer for Henson.

The problem is that the Bucks are looking to add Jabari to a playoff roster and hope to make some real noise in the East.  It might take a near max offer to get Middleton and I can almost guarantee that if we took Middleton from them, they wouldn't trade us Henson for all the tea in China.

That team looks like a dream for Hinkie :P

"sign K Middleton at $8 or $9 million per."
I am also a fan of KM, but he is a restricted FA and the rumour is there is no way the Bucks let him for so little. It makes sense, he is one of the most versatile young 3s available this summer.  :-\
