Two best players for this Celtics team are, by a country mile, Isaiah Thomas and Jared Sullinger.

Both are elite bench players.  Not who you want starting.

Agreed

Doug Collins just said you find out who can play in the playoffs.

I think Bass and Bradley can not. Too big of a stage for them.
Meanwhile you can see the spark in Smart since the playoffs. Dude wants the ball and is getting his minutes reduced.

I agree.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Positive note -- this roster is just a few solid moves away from being able to win 45 games or so next season and maybe win a game or two against an opponent like Atlanta or Washington.

Some of this is talent.  Some is experience.  Some of it is Stevens' Master of Panic coaching during the game.  I mean, it's not like Boston is playing some full-court pressure and Stevens is subbing guys in and out in shifts.  He's just constant moving guys is and out of the line up with no logic that I can see.

Wow, Sully and Crowder trying to bring us back. Those two are the only ones who really showed up to play today. Smart showed up today, too, but he was late!  ;D
teacher Brad would rather teach a lesson then extend the series.

Coach has to show faith in the system or it falls apart.  At this point I'll take a good lesson over just a loss.  And if the team DOES win, that's icing and something the on-time players can take pride in.

Come on guys!

JR Smith either doesn't know what a foul is or thinks he's infallible.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Dang what is up with Isaiah today..

Like the rest of the team, he's overmatched.

IT is the clear number one option for this Celtics team, and the Cavs are keying on him to prevent him from scoring.  He's a good player, but he's not so good that he can keep scoring when the other team is focused on stopping him.

IT also has trouble dealing with size and length.  Surprise surprise given his height.

These last two games are on IT as much as anyone. He's been non-existent. That just isn't compatible with us having a shot to win against a superior Cavs team.

Great comments by coach during time out.  We are hanging within reach.  Can our guys start hitting?  I want more than Love to remember they played the C's this week.
