Just wondering what kind of agenda do you all think RR is planning after shooting himself in the foot in Dallas the way he did. he must have some kind of plan? where does he fit? does any coach dare take a chance? or is he just finished?

His plan is to take his talents to Hollywood and join the Los Angeles Lakers.

I will then burn my Rondo t-shirt that I never took the tag off. Sadly, this was purchased two weeks before he was traded in a surprising move.

Here's something I think of often.......What if Ainge had dumped Rondo and Green and also pulled the trigger and had gone all in with his huge stash of draft picks? now take into consideration the tremendous "Hoosiers" job Brad Stevens has done,  where might we be now?

Danny has got to make his move at the earliest you are allowed to trade to give Stevens the time he needs to mold guys into Boston's style and you will have a contender next year.

Having ruined the Mavericks, Rondo, the Celtic mole, plans to move on to the Lakers and ruin their team.

It's all part of Danny's master plan.

I'm not sure how you can ruin the Lakers anymore than they actually are, Mitch Kupchak did a pretty good job on his own. ;D

He definitely won't be a Maverick, and I wish he'll find success on his next team. I'll never forget his best stretch as a Celtic, he carried the aging Big Three in their final years.

However, there's this part of me that wishes he commits to the Lakers and they sign him to a maximum contract, because his ball-dominant, assist-hungry ways definitely won't put them over the top and he'll stunt their rebuild process by taking playing time away from Jordan Clarkson. It's a cruel wish for one of my favorite players, but I hope this happens if only because it'll potentially screw the Lakers.

If by some stroke of miracle, the 76's with four top 5 picks have another losing season next year....this is where Rondo will end up.  Got to go for the lotto one more time.   ;D

Just kidding in the comments above, but I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up on their roster.

what we think Rondo's going to get for a contract next year? Is he getting more than the 5 year 55 he just finished?

It was assumed he'd get far more than that but now I'm totally confused on his value.  Is it 8 mil per? 6? 11? Certainly not 15 or more!  But it only takes one team so maybe the Lakers buck up?
