I'm still not convinced the Cavs are a championship caliber team.  They should be counting their blessings that they're in the weak East.

Kyrie clearly doesn't understand how to win at the championship level.  Teams are absolutely going to welcome him dribbling the air out of the ball and jacking up tough shots.  Kevin Love got his because of poor defensive rotations, a lot of them due to Bass.  And LeBron is having to play 40+ minutes to hold his team down.

Chicago, Atlanta, and whoever comes out of the West are miles better than we are.

Have you watched the Cavs play this year.  Kyrie always dribbles and takes tough shots.  He just didnt finish them tonight.

You're underselling how well the Celtics are playing in an attempt to talk down to the Cavs.  The Celtics have played incredibly tough.  They play excellent team basketball and have great chemistry.  They have really pushed the Cavs.  A spot up shooter and a stronger inside presence would do wonders for this team.

Fascinating seeing the talent gap between these two teams. We are going full throttle and executing as well as we are capable... Meanwhile they are jogging through the entire thing and in complete control.  They can take over the game on a whim.  It doesn't even look like lebron broke a sweat in this game.

TP.  We just don't have anybody who is a threat offensively no matter where they are.  We have a couple guys that can hit shots at a slightly higher than league average, but we can't really force our game style on anybody.  Meanwhile, the Cavs are just making impossible shots.  I'm proud of the Celtics out there, but I'm really wondering how many of them we bring back
I'm happy for our effort, but this entire series has gone like this:

When lebron needs to take over this game, he will.

That is such BS. They're down 3 points right now because they're "toying with us." Give me a freakign break.
They have been up by two possessions for the vast majority of this series.  We have had admirable effort, but the cavs have been in control of all of these games.  These games weren't as close as they appeared.

I literally just don't know what to say to your ridiculous comments anymore lol  ::) You predicted this series wouldn't be close, so you're sticking to that prediction.... no matter what the evidence might suggest....
To be fair, 3-0 isn't exactly close.
3-0, in a vacuum, isn't close

We aint in no vacuum
None of these games were close.  None came down to a possession or two.  An 8 point victory is a definitive victory.  Sure they haven't been blowouts, but that's mostly because the cavs have been bored with this tune up.

C'mon.  Atlanta vs Boston in 2008 was "close".   Philly vs Boston in 2012 was "close".   This series hasn't been remotely close.  We are down 3-0.  We have been outplayed in all three games.   There has never been a time in this series where Cleveland was threatened.
Celtics - Hawks 2008 Scores:
G1: 104-81
G2: 96-77
G3: 102-93
G4: 97-92
G5: 110-85
G6: 103-100
G7: 99-65

Celtics - Cavs 2015 Scores:
G1: 113-100
G2: 99-91
G3: 103-95

Yet the Hawks series was close, but none of our games have been close.  ::)

Best lineup was ET, AB, Jae, REB... Sully should have been the 5th but Zeller was our third best big tonight by default (KO didn't play and Gigi is no defender so he got less than 10 too). Reb and Sully were our best bigs even though Z got the most minutes. I don't know why CBS wont just let REB play until he dies out there, he could and should play at least 35 with the way he finds the ball and helps on D.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Guys ... These games have been decided by three possessions or more and in the last few minutes the Celts haven't even had the opportunity to tie it.

That's not a close series.

These have been close games, more the last two than the first one. We've been in the game in the last minute, and they only get up to three possessions after the game is decided in the final seconds with free throws and stuff. No rational person would say these last few games weren't close...

The Celts have never had an opportunity to tie or go ahead in the last few minutes.

In what world is that close?

So...your argument literally is that being behind by three points is close but being behind by four points isn't close?  That's like saying losing by 25 is a blowout but losing by 18 isn't.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Close versus not close is probably the wrong argument. We are down 3-0 and have blown our 'big chance' at exactly the wrong time these last two games leaving us with no real chance in the last minute.

Competitive is probably a better way to describe this series. The Cavs have had to play their starters the maximum amount of time and exert a lot more energy than most would have predicted. Even though we may get swept, nobody is saying that the Celtics just totally suck...even Kenny Smith had Cs highlights lined up for his half-time break down, though he probably didn't know the Cavs would close out so strong and end with an eight point lead.

The wording doesn't matter, because some people believe Cleveland is just toying with us, even when playing their starters huge minutes and needing one or more of their big 3 to have huge nights against us.

Cant wait to see when they're playing the bulls

Toying with us ::)

Not trying 100% all the time? Probably

But toying with us would mean they were also blowing us out
