I mean, Stevens, how many threes has Love nailed on Bass? Stevens looked horrible tonight. Keeping Bradley in, hardly playing Smart, STILL PLAYING BASS... All part of the learning process I guess..
Seriously, this is a huge mismatch talent wise.  Nothing Stevens could really do and your suggestions would have made no difference at all.  Smart brings almost nothing.  And who are we replacing bass with?

How many of Love's threes were on Bass when he was caught out of position or helping off too much? JJ would've been much better, and he was when he played. Smart brought more than Bradley could've tonight, too.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Yeah, we need centers. Not a logjam guard position. And quit making Kevin Love look like Kobe.

Fascinating seeing the talent gap between these two teams. We are going full throttle and executing as well as we are capable... Meanwhile they are jogging through the entire thing and in complete control.  They can take over the game on a whim.  It doesn't even look like lebron broke a sweat in this game.

TP.  We just don't have anybody who is a threat offensively no matter where they are.  We have a couple guys that can hit shots at a slightly higher than league average, but we can't really force our game style on anybody.  Meanwhile, the Cavs are just making impossible shots.  I'm proud of the Celtics out there, but I'm really wondering how many of them we bring back
I'm happy for our effort, but this entire series has gone like this:

When lebron needs to take over this game, he will.

That is such BS. They're down 3 points right now because they're "toying with us." Give me a freakign break.
They have been up by two possessions for the vast majority of this series.  We have had admirable effort, but the cavs have been in control of all of these games.  These games weren't as close as they appeared.

I literally just don't know what to say to your ridiculous comments anymore lol  ::) You predicted this series wouldn't be close, so you're sticking to that prediction.... no matter what the evidence might suggest....

... This series wasn't close.

It feels like the Celtics may just be a player away from having a real shot at winning this series.
Yeah if they had lebron they'd have a real shot.

Blame AB all you want but he shut Kyrie down and he outscored him (even with the poor shooting). That's dang near all you can ask out of someone going against him.

should talk to our bigs who can't get a board to save their own lives. Watch most of their runs begin with a rebound after we make them miss with excellent D.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I'd say a player away from winning a game so far but they'll need another above average player to think about winning it.

LeBron was LeBron
Love was clutch

Kyrie played terrible. Just tough to win down the stretch when you compare rosters.

Welp, I really wish we were focusing on the draft rather than being in basketball purgatory. Where do we go from here? This team's been maxed out.

I don't think its as easy as saying "trading up", teams don't often trade down in the NBA.

And if he doesn't help its a dunk.

To be fair, 3-0 isn't exactly close.
3-0, in a vacuum, isn't close

We are a legit defensive center away from winning these games.

this series may be a sweep, but it's not a blowout sweep like so many of the other series'
Credit to our effort and Stevens. Both have been outstanding.  The most tangible benefit of this pointless playoff series is that it kept Stevens engaged enough that's he's unlikely to return to the college ranks for at least another season.  That's good.  Hopefully Ainge can get some real talent here before brad bails.

So IT didn't show up, I guess. And the Celtics had another horrendous end to a second quarter. And I guess that was ballgame, pretty much?

We had our chances.  That stretch of turnovers in the 3rd quarter really, really hurt us.  Failed to grab key defensive rebounds in the 3rd too, not just the 4th.  Just frustrating to watch.
