LeChoke appearance?

1-10 (the one being a gimme), 3 turnovers in Overtime.

Uh, he was a monster the whole dang game.  I think it's more like he didn't have the energy to back the whole Warriors team down from half-court into the post by the time the game reached overtime.

LeBron played 46 minutes and didn't exactly play a finesse style at any point.
The 1-10 and 3 turnovers were by the Cavs as a team, not LeBron individually. He didn't play that poorly.

Considering the fact that the Cavs wouldn't have even had a remote chance of getting to overtime without LeBron's performance, I'd hardly call that a choke.  Sure he had a poor overtime, but so did everyone else in a Cavs uniform.  It was a team fail.

Yeah, looked like he gassed. He's the only reason it was even close.

I'm not saying he didn't play a magnificent game. But he was missing when he was needed the most. Granted, he could be tired, but 3 turnovers?

Irving played 44 minutes. 40+ before OT. No surprise he re-aggrevated his knee.

LeBron was incredible. But just like with Harden, he can't play like that every game.

Oh. Guess I saw the wrong ticker from ESPN (not sarcasm). I thought I saw a ticker that says "LeBron James" and those numbers.

My bad.

Either way, Cleveland made no shots in overtime (aside from that meaningless layup at the end). That's pretty impressive, all things considered.

Golden State pulled that one out in spite of Curry and Thompson combining for 2-10 in the first quarter. Props to them: glad to see Iggy playing as well as he has been too, that dude is seriously underrated.

This is a tough loss for the CAVS. But like Sir Charles said, your series does not start until someone wins on the other's home court.

Not really, the series can end without any team winning on the road.

I really feel that the warriors should let Lebron have his and just focus on locking down the rest. Lebron will eventually tire (like today's game) and he will have no one to help him, esp with a gimpy Kyrie. The warriors have enough personnel to withstand a LBJ monster game anyway, and I think the Cavs are a harder team to stop when his supporting crew are contributing.

LeBron has been great in these playoffs but before anyone starts making excuses...

LeBron left Cleveland for someplace where he thought it would be easy to win.  He left Miami when it looked to be getting tough for someplace where he thought it would be easier to win.  If Cleveland hadn't already had Kyrie and the #1 pick, there's no way he goes back there.

So now that he's having a lot of bad luck, NO ONE should feel sorry for LeBron.  No one should make excuses for him.  No one should blame him, but no one should pretend.  Making 7 NBA Finals is amazing.  Going 2-5 is far less so.

I've long been a fan of Iggy.  Not enough was made of how he went to Denver and made them a borderline juggernaut, at least in the regular season.  That team winning 55+ games was ridiculous.

Also appreciated those Philly teams with Andre, wished they could have gotten him some better support.  Too bad that he couldn't get to a really good team when he was still good enough to be a really fantastic #2 or #3, but coming up as a hero in the Finals would be a great way to put a bow on his career.

This is Absolutely TRUE---and he should have lost to SA 2 years ago--if not for 2 missed free throws(Ginobli&Leonard) and a Miracle 3 by Ray Allen--all within the last :30 of Game 6...The guy is great--but, he has been coddled by the Refs and the League ever since he came in.

LeBron left Cleveland for someplace where he thought it would be easy to win.  He left Miami when it looked to be getting tough for someplace where he thought it would be easier to win.

There really is very little evidence for this.  Winning with a much younger and less experienced supporting cast is always harder, not to mention the greatly raised expectations trying to win one for your hometown team.

Based on what has come out in the last year, it seems LeBron went back to the Cavs because

(1) He always wanted to return there eventually and try to win a title for Cleveland
(2) Things were going downhill in Miami sooner than expected
(3) LeBron wanted to have much more control over how the team was run

He acknowledged in his announcement that the Cavs would be a bit of a project because of how young the team was.  Obviously some of that was PR spin, but I think to some extent that was genuine.

Heading into this season, I doubt LeBron necessarily expected to contend.  The mid-season trades really worked out for them and the Eastern Conference was even more of a joke than usual.

To even have a chance at a ring, all things considered, is gravy for Bron, at least for this year.  He's gonna have at least 4 or 5 more chances to make the Finals with the Cavs.  But that's not how it'll be talked about if the Cavs lose.

Ah, that wonder of the message board!  The guy who supposedly disagrees while actually admitting you are right.  I never said LeBron went to Cleveland because he thought he'd immediately win a title.

Exactly ......he is soooooo good ...he could take even  the Celtics this far .....I have no doubt.......we saw how the Cavs crumble without Irving and James in the game major minutes.

I still think James can come back and still drop 50 on the Warriors ......

I believe the next game , LeBron goes to super human mode ,   Somehow scores enough , with Irving's help to tie the series.

Has anyone else noticed that Draymond Green and Brandon Bass look very alike? That caught my eye while I was watching the game.
