  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Here I was thinking I should play FIFA 15 now thinking that the Clippers had a solid big lead in the 4th, that it was over.

And then...

How? Just how?

McHale has been ripped apart for his coaching, how much credit does he get for sitting Harden in the fourth?

Props to Harden for being all for it, too. He was up cheering his guys on the whole way.

Ok, he's done it with the Celtics, and now the Clippers...there HAS to be some kind of Doc Rivers effect when his teams constantly need 7 games to win a series.

I'd love to know his record in game 6 closeout games.  Because it feels like it's terrible.

Yep. Thats a bold move by McHale and it worked. And agreed, props to James Harden for supporting the coaches decision and doing what he can. Surely he probably didn't like to sit, but it didn't stop him from trying to help the team any way he can.

Game 7 will be tight. Doc rivers loves game 7s. One last year. Two this year. So many in Boston. Lol

Houston is such a weird team.

Good for McHale.  I'm happy for him.

I hope they come out and lead by double digits wire to wire against the Clippers in Game 7.  I really do.

This has been a brutal series in a lot of ways.  I haven't even really spent much time watching it.  But I'd be happy to see the Clips go home empty handed again, short of the conference finals.  I just don't like them.  Redick is my favorite player on that team.

The Josh Smith redemption story is kind of fun, and it'd be cool if Dwight vindicated himself as a star to some degree.  He's kind of gotten written off as a main face of this generation of players, even though he's been consistently excellent his whole career.

I laughed that entire 4th. One more time, HAHA!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

The Rockets definitely showed championship-level fight in this one.  All I can say is wow.  The whole thing kind of reminded me of game 4 in 2008, except that the roles were reversed for Doc, lol ;D, and this is yet another CP3 team that just can't close it out.  I don't care if they win game 7 or not (nut go Rockets!), but with a 3-1 lead they should never have gotten to this point in the first place.  Didn't Paul's teams also blow 2-0 series leads to the Grizzlies, and in consecutive years, to boot?  Ahaha ;D.

Anyway, go McHale!  Maybe he instilled some of what happened in 1981 and 82 (even though they ultimately lost because Tiny was hurt) into his team over the last couple of days, but regardless, whatever it is that he's done, it's working.  Wow.

I was thinking the other day whether McHale would give them the 81 pep talk or not, remember when we came back from 3-1 down against Dr J and the Sixers guys, Howard, Harden - Dr who ? , I wasn't even born ha ha

I can't give Houston too much credit for that. Clippers just stopped playing and expected to breeze to the finish. They then went cold and uh oh. Houston will be playing free for the first time in this series in Game 7. Clippers really screwed the pooch.

Wouldn't it be a shame if Chris Paul still can't make it past the 2nd round?  ;D ;D ;D

Man, the Clippers collapsed.  Classic case of taking the foot off the pedal too soon . . . and a healthy dose of Josh Smith balling like a superstar late in that game.

I hope the Clippers take game seven.  The Rockets should have the slight edge being at home, but I really think this thing could go either way.

I went to bed, and dreamed of a world without the Houston Rockets in the playoffs.
