I don't know if this would be considered realistic but here's what I'd like to see (short of the C's winning the series)
- C's not lose a game by double digits and even pulling off a win or 2
- Stevens come out of the series looking like a coaching genius for keeping this team of role players in every game
- Marcus Smart continue his improvement right through the playoffs where he really looks like 1st team all defense type player with some offensive game.
- Sully play as his highest level after shaking off the rust. Need him rebounding and playing in the paint -- no more than 1 3-pointer taken per game (none would be better).
- the rest of the team plays hard and makes smart plays to keep the games close with Cleveland. this means no stupid TOs from overdribbling, dribbling in traffic or just plain dumb/lazy passes by anyone but primarily by Turner, AB, Smart and IT.
- Actual boxing out by the C's on the defensive boards. Sully's the only one who does it with any consistancy but we need all the bigs (everyone on the court actually) to do it. if we can get the Cavs to miss, we need to make sure their game is just one-and-done and not a constant barrage of multiple shots from offensive rebounds.
- Solid defense from everyone, particularly from whomever is covering Lebron. stick with him like glue regardless of what the other Cavs are doing. either keep the ball out of his hands or make the Cavs burn as much clock as possible getting him the ball.
- send Lebron to the floor on as many of his drives as possible. hard foul every time. get him thinking about it. he's a much better shooter than he used to be so it's not as much of an advantage having him shoot instead of drive but at least if he's shooting, the C's can stay out of the penalty longer at the end of the game and not giving up "and-1's"
