I don't think we have a chance of winning the series, but heres what I would like to see

1. Celtics to push the cavs to 6 games and be in every single game.

2. Marcus Smart to have a breakout game that essentially is his "coming out party" for him offensively.

3. This to be the Celtics step forward and Brad Stevens to show on the national stage he is set to become one of the best coaches in the league

The benefit of being in the playoffs and a near .500 team with Stevens making a name for himself in his 2nd year from the rebuild(with alot of assets still coming) could have some pretty good ripple effects on Free agency. Players may see boston as a more attractice place to sign.

realistically if we get upgrades in talent next year (through drafts/free agency/development) this team could be a top 5 team in the east. and a case could be made we would have a +.500 record this year if we had traded Rondo/green earlier and had this lineup instead

(1) Avoid sweep
(2) Limit the number of double digit losses. 1 is fine. 2 is not so good. 3 would be bad.

I don't know if this would be considered realistic but here's what I'd like to see (short of the C's winning the series)
- C's not lose a game by double digits and even pulling off a win or 2
- Stevens come out of the series looking like a coaching genius for keeping this team of role players in every game
- Marcus Smart continue his improvement right through the playoffs where he really looks like 1st team all defense type player with some offensive game.
- Sully play as his highest level after shaking off the rust.  Need him rebounding and playing in the paint -- no more than 1 3-pointer taken per game (none would be better).
- the rest of the team plays hard and makes smart plays to keep the games close with Cleveland.  this means no stupid TOs from overdribbling, dribbling in traffic or just plain dumb/lazy passes by anyone but primarily by Turner, AB, Smart and IT.
- Actual boxing out by the C's on the defensive boards.  Sully's the only one who does it with any consistancy but we need all the bigs (everyone on the court actually) to do it.  if we can get the Cavs to miss, we need to make sure their game is just one-and-done and not a constant barrage of multiple shots from offensive rebounds.
- Solid defense from everyone, particularly from whomever is covering Lebron.  stick with him like glue regardless of what the other Cavs are doing.  either keep the ball out of his hands or make the Cavs burn as much clock as possible getting him the ball.
- send Lebron to the floor on as many of his drives as possible.  hard foul every time.  get him thinking about it.  he's a much better shooter than he used to be so it's not as much of an advantage having him shoot instead of drive but at least if he's shooting, the C's can stay out of the penalty longer at the end of the game and not giving up "and-1's"

A very competitive game. I want them to play so hard that Lebron HAS to go into takeover mode. I don't want him dancing his way through the 1st round..make them work for their wins.

I am hoping to see us fouling Lebron a lot and trying to draw offensive fouls from him.

Underneath he is a total wuss.

Wasn't sure what I was expecting but I'll second this.

Even if we get swept, as long as the games are somewhat close/ competitive and the young guys all have at least 1-2 solid games in the spotlight.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I'm not "hoping" to see anything.

I'm EXPECTING to see the Celtics continue to play the selfless team ball that they have been playing recently, to adjust on the fly to the many changes that occur in the playoffs, and to leave it all on the court each and every game.

I think the players expect that of themselves.

I think Coach expects that of them also.

And we should expect no less.

If they do that, win or lose, I'll be satisfied.

Realistically, I would like these young Celtics to walk away with a reputation of being a tough, up and coming basketball team. I want NBA fans nationwide to know, when you play this Celtic team...get ready for war.

I'm looking for Smart, Bradley, and Crowder to get some recognition for being 3 young defensive pit bulls that don't back down. (Maybe then the NBA refs will cut this team some slack on D.)

No blowouts! Losses that indicate a hard fought battle.

I have a feeling we're gonna see a few one game suspensions in this series. Look for LaBron and the Cavs to be annoyed much of the time.

Get ready, it's going to be a bumpy ride for 5 games.

I will agree with this but add that the players decide the outcome and not the officials

Win the series.

Hoping to see this. But realistically? Im just hoping we have a decent defensive plan to to slow down Kyrie and lebron to an extent and make them force Love an others  to step up somewhat which might be in our favor.

Also think if we make our open shots and a few clutch ones we make this go 6 games. BUT YES  I HOPE WE WIN IN 4!!!!

Excuse me if i read your post wrong but Players dont ALWAYS determine the outcome. Especially when your playing Lebron and company
