Cavs in 5.
Cs get blown out in the first game. Lose a close second game. Win a game in Boston. Lose the rest.

Cavs in 6, I think Stevens can out coach Blatt and steal 2 games somewhere.

for number 2. I think IT4 has to be out there at times when Kyrie is. As much as Kyrie can take it to IT4 on offense it goes both ways. Kyrie is not some all world defender. But I've watched a fair share of cavs games and i know sometimes they have Delavadova out there with Kyrie so would i rather see AB or Smart checking him while IT4 takes Dova? Of course. We'll see though.
The issue I would have with this is that Kyrie is better offensively than Thomas (and much better at scoring at the rim) and I still think Lebron can stop dribble penetrators really well. I feel like if we just put Thomas on Kyrie, what will happen is that Thomas will beat Kyrie off the dribble, and then Lebron comes over and forces Thomas into a tough jumper, then on the other end Kyrie takes Thomas off the dribble and we have nobody to keep him away from the rim.

The Celtics may not be as talented, but they definitely have the better coach.  They will fight hard regardless.

I think we're swept. Probably only one of the games in doubt late.

Cavs in 6.  3 blow out wins by Cleveland and we go 2-1 in the close games.

would love to shock them but I think the C's will take one.  there'll be at least one game where the C's have a hot shooting game from 3 and Bron gets little support from his teammates.

6 games, i'll keep the winner of the series for myself :D
game plan:
keep love launching 3s, keep him busy on the block
don't let them score easy transition "rebound-outlet-dunk" points
attack the rim, drive and kick
let guys like jr and iman beat us
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

We can't compete talent wise but we have a much better team play and probably a better defence (cavs don't defend 48mn). In that regard, I think it's 50/50 chance. We win or we lose 4-2
Referees might have their word I'm afraid.

I really think this is how it plays out sadly

If we only had playoff Rondo, we would sweep the Cavs.

No, wait a minute, if we had playoff Rondo, we wouldn't even be in the playoffs.  ;D

The Celtics will win 2 games.

Celtics over the Cavs in Rd 1 in six games. Cleveland wins the first two but falls apart after LeBron is arrested for running into the stands and punching a guy who looks like Delonte West.  In game five, Isaiah Thomas scores 46 points, with the winning shot being a deflection off Kyrie's head.  Later, Irving declares that he got confused and was sure that Isaiah Thomas played for Detroit, and he couldn't understand how the fans could cheer for a guy who had said all those mean things about Larry Bird.  After learning that there are two Thomases and that they even spell their names differently, he claims to be confused by the injury to his head and accuses Brad Stevens of deflating the basketballs.  Game 6 is decided at home when Sully hits 17 consecutive 3-pointers and pulls the Celtics back from a 38-point halftime deficit.

Celtics in 7. Everyone defends home court until we steal game 5. Celts then lose Game 6. Game 7 is a nail biter and IT hits a game winner with 5 seconds left.  Lebron has one last chance and misses a 6 foot jumper...Mike Breen & Lebron cry themselves to sleep...

4-1 Cavs. We'll win game 4 as they'll let up in the close-out game. They will close us out in game 5 at home.
