Very good article (although they missed a few guys) projecting the leagues best players in 5 years.  Well written, cool images, and an interesting subject.  Anyone on the list that you could potentially see the Celtics going after? Anyone in particular that you would love to join the Celtics? Anyone they miss?
Also, I think Dragan Bender is a VERY interesting player and could potentially play the small forward, power forward and center! Talk about versatility. I personally think they left out Jabari Parker, Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Josh Jackson, and Kahwi Leonard.

There's a 0% chance that Lebron won't be a top-5 player in 5 years.

I agree. He'll only be 35 I believe. Which is old but with IQ and feel, hes going to be elite even when he loses his superhuman athleticism

This is not a good article. This is clickbait, and its not even wearing a provocative dress. Just plain ol' terrible click bait.

Heck, he doesn't have Kawhi or Lebron in the top 20!

Lebron is 30 (December birthday) right now so he would be 35 in 5 years. I was trying to think of players that have been top 5 in the league at that age before. Kobe is 36 right now and may be a decent a comparison because he also came out of high school. I don't think many would have considered him a top 5 player in the league for at least a few seasons. Are there other top level players that are better examples? I think Jordan had just turned 36 when he retired from the Bulls after the second 3 peat. He was definitely a top 5 player then, but had also taken 2.5 years off and did not come out of high school.

Eh, major injuries or Jordan-esque early retirement.

So maybe 5-10%.  Better question is, where's Olynyk?  :P

Agreed.  Might as well have just made a slideshow of 2020's most popular fart noises.  At least I would've laughed.

I would say 1% which would be related to a PED suspension or injury.  If he is playing he is top 5  :)

LOL at Durant in a Washington uniform. But yea, LeBron at age 35 should still be a top 10 player at least. I mean Kobe 2-3 years ago was a top 10 on espn  :P

Just in case there weren't enough red flags when you saw the words "good article" and "Bleacher Report" in the same title...

Don't forget about nuclear war. There's a lot of things going against Lebron.

Kobe is only 36 now. A lot of players really fall off a cliff at age 33, 34 or 35.

For example, Paul Pierce turned 35 in his last season with the Celtics and clearly was not the same player he was at 32 or 33. Kevin Garnett turned 35 in his second to last season with us and had been on the down swing of his career for a few years at that point. In their last two years with the Celtics would we really call either of those guys even top 30 players in the league?

Lebron has also played more minutes than anyone since coming into the league. I know science and nutrition are advancing rapidly as is medical care for recovery from injury. However, all the other players in the league now have those advantages too. Is Lebron going to be the first player to defeat father time? (Who always says that on TNT, Barkley?)

Hey, if this is a look five years into the future, why isn't DeMarcus Cousins in a Celtics uniform?
