LOL at Durant in a Washington uniform. But yea, LeBron at age 35 should still be a top 10 player at least. I mean Kobe 2-3 years ago was a top 10 on espn
Kobe is only 36 now. A lot of players really fall off a cliff at age 33, 34 or 35.
For example, Paul Pierce turned 35 in his last season with the Celtics and clearly was not the same player he was at 32 or 33. Kevin Garnett turned 35 in his second to last season with us and had been on the down swing of his career for a few years at that point. In their last two years with the Celtics would we really call either of those guys even top 30 players in the league?
Lebron has also played more minutes than anyone since coming into the league. I know science and nutrition are advancing rapidly as is medical care for recovery from injury. However, all the other players in the league now have those advantages too. Is Lebron going to be the first player to defeat father time? (Who always says that on TNT, Barkley?)
