most important thing tonight is lots of reps for Sullinger and plenty of rest for whoever has lingering injuries (Thomas and Smart, I expect)

We need to give some reps to units with Jerebko as a SF and more reps to units in which we play big at the wings. That's going to be a key strategy against the Cavs.

This is a must. He's going to be important for that 2nd unit & see how he can play along side Olynyk/Jerebko & IT. Plus just for him to get up and down the court will be good.

Interesting! That's something that Brad should evaluate these last two games but I don't think he gives it much of a look because of Turner & Crowder.

That you play Jerebko as a SF doesn't mean you're taking minutes away from Turner/Crowder. It simply means that you can play them as SG if needed be. It means that you can play Turner / Crowder together through longer stretches, etc.

I want to see him more there too. Jerebko did well defending SFs earlier in his career. It was just his lack of an offensive game that made it difficult to give him longer minutes there. His new and improved three point shot should make it easier to play him at SF now.

Yes, make Sully play 30mn and ask him to take a verbena infusion on the flight to Milwaukee tonight and call it a day. Tomorrow morning he should have lost 2 pounds.

The experiment should be to let James Young play tonight.

Yep, and my main interest is trying to have Turner the least amount of time on James. I'd consider starting Jerebko or Crowder, moving Turner to SG and having Smart coming off the bench.

This in turn will also allow you to have a good guard defender off the bench to help against Irving. We have enough players to play PF as it is, so let's move some of those who can play SF to that position and help with LeBron.
