As I understand it, the Pacers are the only team besides us that could still end up being the 7th seed and face the Cavs. We would have to lose 2 they have to win 2. Our game starts at 7:30 theirs starts at 8.

Indiana needs to beat the Wizards and Memphis.

I wonder what the risk of messing up a good thing we have going by tanking 2 games before the  end of season. If Brad and Danny and the players don't mind, then why not do to the Raps what the Cavs just did to us.

Wizards really have nothing to fight for at this point so I can see them get fodderized.

Memphis still trying to win the SW division, so I reckon they won't rest players.

It might be a good idea to not play some guys to reduce the small chance that they get injured. It would also make sense to get another extended look at Young and Datome and Pressy as it would have to be a huge playoff blowout before they would get in another game for us. It might also be smart to show other teams that Wallace can still play in case a trade comes along in the summer that needs his contract filler.

If we try our best and lose it is a bit discouraging heading in to the playoffs.

Usually I would agree with most and say its better to not lose to momentum that we have. But I just think it would take a crazy fluke for us to beat the Cavs and I think we could beat anyother team in the east.

by the time memphis game starts or for sure by halftime they'll probably know they have no chance of winning the SW division and with their injuries over the last few days I'd expect them to rest or play limited minutes once they are aware of SA and Houston scores against their respective teams , Indy should have a good chance
tony Allen, mike Conley, didn't play, gasol was limited due to ankle injury tonight
