Danny has made a series of incredible moves. This is some next level GMing we are all witnessing.
Nevermind the KG/PP trade to Brooklyn which is one of the greatest fleece jobs of all time.
Nevermind the KG/Allen trades that created one of the top 15 teams of all time and brought us a banner.
Nevermind the brilliant coach signing.. and locked up for 4 more years at that.
Just this year alone Danny has been at the top of his game. His experience is really showing.
Seriously, how many times in the NBA have you EVER heard about a team who is power ranked 27-30 preseason.. goes on to trade their two best players for no names. Then makes the playoffs??
Can anyone think of when this has happened before? It's kind of insane.
1. Drafted Smart... Marcus has been a very good Rookie so far IMO.
2. Traded for Tyler Zeller ... his FG% is .551 good for 6th in the league, he's getting paid under 2 mil this year and under 3 mil next year, that's absolutely absurd. Slam Dunk by Danny.
4. Signed James Young... One of the D-leauges best scorers at age 19, solid move for the future.
5. Signed Avery Bradley to 8mil/yr for 4 years... very solid and has potential to be a very valuable signing. He's already better then most players making similar money IMO and is a top perimeter player.
6. Signed Evan Turner to 3mil/yr for 2 years. His post ASG numbers are 11/6/7, huge value even if its just for 2 years. Slam Dunk.
7. Managed to get rid of Joel Anthony.
8. Traded Rondo... No one on this forum can say Danny made a mistake here. With hindsight this move gets better and better. Slam Dunk by Danny. Crowder is decent and plays with Celtic passion, has exceeded expectations.
9. Traded Prince for Jerebko and Gigi. A ridiculous fleece job. Slam Dunk. Seriously Detroit? What were you doing with these guys?
10. Traded Thornton for Thomas. Thomas is one of the most clutch players in the league this season, and he' s getting 20ppg. He's getting paid 6.5mil for the next 3 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The value in this contract is absurd if Thomas keeps this play up. SLAM DUNK.
Danny has absolutely killed it this year. Move after move after move, no matter how small, he continues to create something out of nothing to help create this historic season. Enjoy the playoffs.
