Sit IT, AB, Smart, Crowder?

Also gives us a better chance to meet the Hawks in the 1st round .  Worse thing that can happen

is we get 7th place, drop another spot in the draft and possibly get swept by the Cavs

I hate the idea of sitting players.  Rust is never good.  We should be firing on all cylinders from the get go come playoffs.

Our players don't play heavy minutes as it is,so it'd be pointless to rest them. I'd try to protect Thomas as much as possible though... he's the one player we really don't have a legit replacement for what he brings for.

Keeping Isiah healthy and fresh is the key. Hope we can keep him away from those Pacman - Money Mayweather ringside seats. (Meaning we are still playing b-ball that day)

No need to rest unless someone's got a significant unreported injury.  Cut down on minutes and maybe try some different looks, sure.  But we need more reps playing together, the team is still a work in progress even though they're looking better all the time.

These next two games do nothing for the team except cause a potential injury situation

Even though IT, Smart, AB, Crowder don't play alot of min  , they play super hard on the defensive end.  Their bodies must be worn out a little

I say after the Pacers lose tonight, we should sit these 4.  Maybe even Zeller, Bass. Give Sullinger, Datome, Jerebko, James Young some extra min on the court.

You don't sit players when your team is trying to build experience. C's have some momentum.

Stevens said today he wouldn't sit any players unless they were injured.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Hold up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe we've clinched a spot yet.

After our win this morning we move to 38-42 which puts us one game above Brooklyn (who lost today) and either 1 or 2 games above Indiana (depending on whether they win or lose to OKC).

From what I understand, we CAN still be knocked out of the playoffs if (and only if):

1) Boston goes 0-2 against Toronto and Milwaukee (record becomes 38-44)
2) Indiana goes 3-0 against OKC, Washington and Memphis (record becomes 39-43)
3) Brooklyn goes 2-0 against Chicago, Orlando (record becomes 39-43)

Boston has struggled this season against both Toronto and Milwaukee, so there is a very real possibility that they could lose both of those games.

Brooklyn should beat Orlando easy enough, and but Chicago will be a problem.  They are currently tied with Toronto for the 3rd best record in the East, so it all depends on whether they choose to rest their starters or battle for that 3rd seed.

Indiana have the toughest road of all.  They have two tough (but winnable) games against OKC and Washington...but their biggest problem is Memphis.  The Grizzliest are in a tie with the Clippers for the #2 seed in the East, so if they choose to battle (rather then rest their starters) then Indiana will have a tough time winning that game.

Realistically I'd say there is probably about  90% chance that Boston goes through, but nothing is guaranteed yet.

If Boston gets one more win (or Indiana / Brooklyn gets one more loss) then Boston is in.  Lets cheer for OKC today!

I would not sit anyone, I would just try to win every game and let the playoff seed handle itself.
