Tommy saying Marcus Smart the best defensive rookie he ever saw. High praise.
Best perimeter defender I've seen since Ron Artest in his prime.

I d luv to see a 40 win reg season.

I say go for the 40. We'll get whoever we get for the playoffs.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

we win tonight and pacers lose.  We are guaranteed 8th

Should the team sit Thomas, AB, Smart for the next 2 games?

I dont want to play Cleveland in the first round. No way the league office lets them lose.

why not?? league doesn't care

I kind of like Shumpert... he's a bit crazy with shot selection, but as a bench backcourt partner for IT, Celtics could be deadly defensively.

Smart/IT
Bradley/Shumpert

I think the league wants Lebron in the Finals.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Cleveland putting their starters in doesn't make any sense.

If by some miracle we win that series, Brad Stevens will need a little more money.
