Winslow will be the best player in this draft, then towns, then Okafor then WCS. I like hezonja and Oubre. But if we trade up it better be for Winslow. If WCS drops, without a doubt I want him over anyone.

We're not moving up 10 spots to get winslow. Get over it..

Hmm ....6 points and 4 rebounds in 33 minutes against Notre Dame ... 2 points and 5 rebounds in 33 minutes against Wisconsin.  Who was that imposter wearing Willie Cauley-Stein's jersey, anyway?

Honestly anyone who posts his stats are very mislead. Go and look at all of Marcus Smarts box scores , go look at Tony Allen box scores, go look at Ben Wallace box scores, go look at Tyson chandler. Then actually watch him play. He isn't asked to score, he isn't posting up and getting looks, and he's playing next to 2 6'11 players and two 6'5 guards. Look at DeAndre Jordan box scores when he's playing alongside Blake Groffin, he averages like 11 and 14 right now because he had a month of no Blake and absolutely went off with 25 boards everynight, but tonight he has 3 n 5 at halftime.

Stop goin by box scores, if you actually watched him play you would see a 7 footer lockdown a Center then lock down a point guard. You can't teach that. You just can't, he can get stronger and rebound more and he can learn post moves.

WCS> any big man in this draft not named Okafor or Towns. That's solely because their light years ahead of him on offense.

Don't sleep on WCS. Elite defensive bigs are extremely, extremely valuable. You look at guys like Duncan and KG, they cause their opponents to score about 7 points per 100 fewer over the course of a long career - and even better than that during their peak. No player, not KD Lebron or Kobe, makes a 7ppg impact on offense.

Even if he isn't quite a KG or a Duncan defensively, and even if he is a minus offensively, WCS can nonetheless be an extremely valuable player in this league. He'll never be a 20ppg scorer, but I think he'll have a very good career as a defensive specialist.

Exactly.  You aren't drafting WCS to give you anything other than garbage baskets, and that might amount to 8-10 points a game if he gets decent minutes.  But you are drafting him because he plays elite (well at least for college) defense.  He has great quickness, great effort, ability to get beat and then still impact the shot.  Did anyone see the block he had on Kaminsky after he got beat?  He has great def recovery skills.  He will be a def beast.  Exactly what we need.

Unfortunately, I am guessing he is gone long before we pick.

WCS is an elite rim protector and defender
Doesn't really dominate the boards and really lack a post game
He's good but not great

I think we can get more value with centres at the end of the draft with dakari Johnson, guirellmo Hernangomez and maybe Christian wood

I agree on Towns. I've always thought he was the best player in the draft. Such a unique modern player. I like Booker and Lyles but I'm not sure we need either player. I would pick either if they were best available though. I respectfully disagree on WCS. I think he will be very good and would fit our team well. I also would rather a rim protector that also has some offense but I think WCS will really be a elite defender. I would take Dakari if he is available in the early second round of we haven't taken a center yet.

Strongly agree with all of this.  By the way, good luck to "The Old Lady" in the rest of the Champs League (from a Man City fan).

Thank you very much. Good luck with the remainder of the EPL season. TP. Also thanks for knocking out Roma in the group stages.  ;D

No problem, it was enjoyable... ;)  Nice to see Carlitos scoring at will for your club.

Carlitos was one of my favorite players even before he played with Juventus. His work rate and creativity is so fun to watch. He is more than deserving of the number 10.  :)

Any chance you'd sell us Pogba? We're going to have a fire sale at City at season's end, so if you still like Jovetic, or maybe covet Dzeko, Nasri, Yaya, etc., maybe we could arrange something?  ;)

I loved Jovetic when he played for Fiorentina. His injuries scare me away though. We are trying to get Dybala. I think Juve views him as Tevez's heir. It is possible Morata will go back to Real Madrid in 2016 but it is ultimately up to him. Hopefully he stays but we will see. That is down the road though. So I don't think we need much in attack. We also have Berardi and Zaza at Sassuolo. Berardi looks promising and Zaza seems like a good squad player. As for Yaya we have lots of CMs and I think he will go to Inter to play for Mancini again. I think we will probably sell Pogba in the summer of 2016 after the Euros to Real Madrid or Barcelona for over €100million. Maybe Real Madrid can let us keep Morata as part of the deal. I think that is most likely, sold to Real Madrid for lots of money plus Morata permanently.

Once again, we have no shot of getting WCS or others like Johnson, Winslow, or Dekker. So no need to discuss drafting them
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Well we have a SHOT of missing the playoffs and winning the lottery, then we could take anyone.

More realistically we have a shot of trading up for a player we really want.

Ainge can always trade up. I think trading up is the best option at this point. I think there is some really good talent at the tail end of the top 10 but a drop-off after that point. So I think this is a good year to try and make a push and move up into that top 10.

It will be extremely difficult to get into the top 3-5 picks but Ainge should be able to get into the 7-10 range where one of those guys (WCS, Johnson, Winslow) is likely to fall and be available.

Willy Hernangomez is a tough kid and he's developing nicely. In 2-3 years he'll probably be the best Center in Europe and the Cs probably can have him with their own second round. And Dakari has a better feel for the game than WCS. At the end of the first round or early second round, he'd be my pick.

I don't know about Christian Wood, but if we pick someone like Lyles, Dekker or Portis with our first rounder, I'd rather go after Hernangomez or Dakari Johnson.

i'm sold on him, he is just that more athletic than anybody ever tested. If he's available he will be a Celtics, you can count on that
