Next question, Does Monroe consider himself a center? Has he indicated he's interested in playing center on any team? Does he really have the skills, attitude, and defensive desire to play the position?

Monroe has the offense to be a very good center, the defense needs work and he would be best paired with a rim protecting 4 who can shoot from the outside, but they are tough to find.
2019 historical draft.  Pick 12

Tim Duncan, Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Scottie Pippen, Willis Reed, Mitch Richmond, Sam Jones, Dan Majerle, Bob Cousy, Rasheed Wallace, Shawn Kemp, Marcus Camby

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
So I expect us to renounce Bass, Jerebko and Detome.

Crowder will be offered the qualifying offer so he won't be on the cap for anything more than $1.8 MM. The C's will then go after a big fish like Love or Monroe. If the C's sign one of those guys they can then go back and make Crowder a long term offer and go over the cap. After that I think they will have an exception left that they can use to bring back Bass or Jerebko.

I don't expect the C's to be able to trade into the top 10 but I think they will be able to get a quality prospect at the 3 or the 5.

If we can sign someone like Love or Monroe and add a quality rotation play at the 3 or the 5 spots we will be a good team next year. Then we will get a high lottery pick from a Brooklyn team that gets worse next year.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Of everything that has been said in this thread, I have to comment on this: if you trade the 15th pick and a second rounder to get the 10th pick in return, you are moving UP in the draft, not down.

It is just so egregiously wrong that I felt obligated to clarify.  :)
