So the Pacers played the knicks and sixes twice, the magic, the cavs without their players, and a reeling bucks team. I'm not impressed by their recent streak.

I ve never thought of George Hill as a top flite guard in the NBA ......maybe it's just me  ???

He has stunk in the playoffs the last 2 years. I can't believe Larry has not upgraded that spot.

When Bird stepped aside for a year for health issues, wasn't it Pritchard or Walsh who gave Hill that horrendous contract?  Indiana could have signed Aaron Brooks for cheap and beaten Miami in 2013 with a lineup of Brooks, Stephenson, George, West, and Hibbert.  Hill isn't bad, but he's a 3rd guard on a contender, not a starting point guard.  His shooting and defense would make him a perfect fit in the triangle, though (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, lol ;D), especially since he isn't a traditional point guard.

Cool to see Datome getting run after never getting non garbage time opportunities in Detroit.

Crowder is a keeper, He defends like crazy, he rebounds, real nice guy off the bench.

You better believe Mavs wanted to keep him too. Some people just help your team on the DL.

When that trade happened, the loss of Crowder was a big deal.

My theory on our current team

We have good solid role players. You can argue that NONE of our players are quality nba starters.  However there is NO let down from our starters-second and even third string players.  Stevens has everyone all in.  Everyone is working on defense at all times.  This is nice to watch

Greatest surprise so far, Indy commentators are very well informed on our roster, coach,trades... The days when other teams commentators could not pronounce 'Olynyk' are gone for good  ;D

Let's see how they do with Gigi.
Pure clairvoyance lol
Gi Dato-Luigi-me?
That was hilarious  ;D

This thought crossed my mind more than once too.

He is used to doing without the best
