It's like, the ball is a marcus smart magnet. He's always attracted to the ball whether he must the dive for the ball or must take body banging to get it, he'd still go for it. The way he defends the ball handler, the way he doesn't jump when they took shots when he's on a body body defense. And I always love he gets thru the screen. I mean, HE'S A DEFENSE GOD. :D

Great vid. TP. This is why I'd take him over any guard in his draft. This is elite perimeter defense by a 21 year old. The path to improvement is a lot faster when you can focus on only your offense.

I have never seen anyone who plays defense quite the same way as Marcus does. He is so strong.

The only person I can compare him to is Walt Frazier, but Frazier was more quickness and finesse than strength.
