Wonder if Danny tries to cash in all his assets in a trade offer for Durant this summer and if OKC would even consider it?

Who knows if OKC really would trade KD. But, what seems very obvious to me, Danny Ainge would go all out to get him. I kind of have a feeling we will get KD eventually. Laugh all you want. Last time I had this feeling was for the 3 or 4 years proceeding the trade where we finally got KG. I'm wishing OKC all the bad luck in the world and hope KD eventually gets moved.

3 or 4 Brooklyn picks is a good starting point. You'd think they would have to be retarded to let KD go, but they did let Harden go.

No, they're not going to trade him. The Harden trade isn't even remotely comparable to this. It's just clickbait nonsense from a guy who's a former GM for a reason.

IF KD gave OKC indication that he was not going to resign, it would make for a unique trade landscape. Usually when a team trades a superstar, they are looking to rebuild and they are ok with bottoming out for a few years. But why would OKC? Remember when trades used to seem somewhat fair. Like a star for a star. Zo for Rice. When was the last time that happened? Well if(and it really is such an if) Durrant is not resigning in OKC, then they might as well try to trade him for a star or at least 2 quasi stars.

Durant's the second best player in the world and on a team with a legitimate shot to win it all this season or next season before his contract expires. You let him break up with you if it comes to that.

league should really look to fix this problem i.e. you get more money and more years as a free agent then you do if you re-sign with a year left on your contract.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Funnily enough, this very situation was brought upon by owners who wanted to prevent another Carmelo Anthony situation where a star player forces his way out via trade so that he could sign an extension with his new team.

They're not retarded (people still use that word disparagingly? do they still use 'gay' like that, too?), just cheap.

Danke ;D

Of course, this is the sort of stuff that leads to Durant saying stuff like "the media doesn't know ****."
