Lame, that 29 franchises couldn't be bothered to respond.  You don't have to send a fan an autographed ball (although that was awesome!), but at least give him the courtesy of a letter, at minimum.

Well done by Minn, I have to give them credit they are really coming out of the Love situation very well. They have managed to score a young super star and by bringing KG back they have bridged the gap between their most successful years and the new rebuild. This team will take some time grow but with a little lottery help they could be the next OKC grass route elite team in the west.

Yeah that was my thoughts exactly.  And now it is a public story which will probably garner Minnesota even more undecided fans.

Agreed. Maybe the Celtics don't deserve a palace after all.

29 teams didn't care?

This would be great PR for the Timberwolves. I'm ashamed that the other 29 squads can't even be bothered to ask someone to respond to this. They'd wish they'd get this publicity.

Looking at their list. #6, though. Really?

Teams probably have so much fan mail they can't respond to it all.

#8 is much more confusing to me.

Also, the fact that the team's president (or secretary or intern) doesn't know which way to spell Zach LaVine (check #4 and #5), and misspelled Shabazz Muhammad's last name.

But, you know, it's the thought that counts.

So a 24 yr old PG that is currently averaging 11 p, 9.2 a, 5.8 r, and 1.8 s is not an emerging star, yet 24 yr old Rajon Rondo that averaged 10.6 p, 11.2 a, 4.4 r, and 2.3 s was.  Got it.

An ESPN article said that Dieng (1st) and Shabazz (3rd) would go top-3 in a redo of the 2013 Draft?

Was the writer drunk?  Giannis and Oladipo are much better prospects than either.

Still Deing is good bigman in the making.   I think he would be top ten not top three.

not to mention Gobert, Adams, Len, MCW, and of course Noel.  That doesn't even talk about McLemore, Burke, Hardaway, Zeller, and our own Olynyk.  Seems like a weird thing to say.

I don't know, in my opinion it is not  a big deal. some teams could be getting thousands of fans mail, i don't expect them to answer all mail.

And at 16 you can figure out on your own what team you to want to root for.
