Is there any doubt whatsoever on any level that Tom Brady is the single greatest player to ever play this game?

That 12 second run off cost the Pats 2 plays.
Didn't they say the Broncos were charged with a timeout?

Horrible

Gostkowski is basically now on par with Viniateri for best kickers ever.

He got a chance to do it here. Let's see what the refs do here tho.

Clutch Gostkowski.

They called injury TO and asked for clock reset.

Tuned in after lots of texts. Knew Brady and Gost would be good for 3 there, but man, they may benefit from losing a game prior to playoffs. They just don't make any sense. It's like Brady can't lose, and Gost is automatic at this point.

But there's so much pressure on this team, especially with all the injuries, sideshow crap, etc. Obviously hope they win, but dropping one wouldn't be the worst thing.

I have Patriot hater friends texting me about how obviously one sided this crap has been.

I am really not a ref-hater -- I almost never complain about bad calls and neve claim conspiracy.  I don't believe this is a conspiracy, but wow, what a run of bad calls (and a couple bad breaks).

Offensive holding
Offensive pass interference
Defensive hilding
Clock run-off.

Each of the calls may have cost the game.

Okay, I've been trying for the last fifteen minutes not to write this post, but I can't help it. In the few years I've been on CB, I have yet to blame a game on the refs. And I'm not the type that says, "Don't call penalties in a tight game." A penalty is a penalty.

But this is truly one of the worst officiating jobs that I have ever seen. The Patriots have been hosed on so many ticky-tacky fouls that I just assume the call is against them. That confusion with the clock was a travesty. Correct or not, they let the players just hang around.

If we lose, we lose. We had our chances. But I just don't see how an honest league doesn't take a look at this game.

TP for having the exact same thought (heck, almost the exact same post!) at the exact same time that I did.
