Malcolm Butler is getting victimized here by Fitzpatrick to Decker.

Fitzpatrick is turnover prone, but I've always thought he's been a bit underrated because he can keep a good team afloat if he's got the pieces around him.  At least I have him in fantasy.

Anyway, the Pats defense is really getting exposed here.  "Bend but don't break," as so often happens against the Jets, is allowing the Jets to dominate time of possession and get points, if not touchdowns.

Feels like this will be the week that the Pats D gets exposed as the just-okay unit that it is this season without any elite coverage guys.

Just caught up with the score. I'm glad they're ahead at halftime, but it's too close for comfort.

You're right about the D, PhoSita—I've been underwhelmed by Malcolm Butler most of the season, and the secondary just gets worse after him. I guess the Pats offense needs to get cranking in the second half.

3 drops by Lafell hurt.  Last one cost 3 points.   Also, 3 good chances for interceptions with no pick.

Important drive upcoming.

Dobson catch looked to me like it should have been challenged.

9 drops.  Absolutely unreal.

These long drives ending in field goals kill me. Three points is better than nothing, but they should be getting so much more, and I'm afraid it's going to come back to haunt them.

Some surprising scores in the league:
KC driving and up 9-3 on Steelers.
Indy down 20-0 to NO.
Miami lays 41 on Houston in the 1st half.
Atlanta just takes the lead on Mariota-less Tennessee 10-7.

Exactly what I thought would happen—NE has a long drive that stalls out, ends with a field goal, then the Jets quickly march the length of the field against a spineless defense and take the lead.

Too many 3rd downs converted by the Jets.   Fitzpatrick has been deadly on 3rd down. With all the Pats drops, this game is now in real jeopardy.

Lafell single-handedly (no-handedly) losing this game for the Pats.

It's a backbreaker to play good D on first and second downs and then give up the third-down conversion. Way too much of that this game.

This just keeps getting better. Pats now need a touchdown to take the lead, and Gronk was seen walking to the locker room after the third quarter.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
If Brady's receivers weren't dropping balls all over the field the pats would be winning in a rout.

Even if they lose this game I don't think any less of this team.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Brady is just so good.   Pats are throwing every single down and still able to move the ball.  Kudos to Brady for just being incredible and to the line for doing enough to keep him protected through the first surge.
