Everybody playing hard, everybody playing defense...

The Butler Celtics.

And I mean that in a good way.

I love this team, too.

But my teenage recreation team could beat the Knicks about now.

Same here. This is a much different team than last year. I think the youngsters brought a whole new attitude and persona to the team this season.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Major props to Coach Brad Stevens. This team is full of "misfits" that couldnt find playing time in their previous teams (Jerebko, Zeller, Crowder, IT) and he is maximizing every ounce of their talent. All at the same time, developing Marcus/Avery/Sully.
Even Gerald's playing hard. It's been a good February.

PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Last season, eight hours before a game against the Orlando Magic, Avery Bradley revealed that he had not watched any tape on opposing guard Victor Oladipo. Despite knowing he would match up against Oladipo, Bradley seemed to take a laissez-faire approach.

He said the Celtics would watch film soon. Still, he sounded like he would not watch any by himself.

"It's easier for me (to adjust quickly) because I ask a lot of questions," he said. "I mean, I'll find out from somebody. It could be (head coach Brad Stevens or assistant coach Ron Adams), it could be my teammates, anybody."

The same scenario would not happen now. Looking to improve his help defense, Bradley said he has committed to studying every opponent. Over the three games since the All-Star break, he has averaged 4.3 steals per game, including a career-high six in Monday's win against the Phoenix Suns.

"I watch so much film," he said after the 115-110 victory, calling his new focus on game tape "a big difference."

"I always knew that I could really help my team out on one-on-one defense," Bradley explained. "But I wanted to become a better team defensive player. And I really feel like I'm improving because I watch film and I know where to pick my spots. It's helping me get steals as well."

Let me chime in. Sometimes you have to clean out the closet to get to the good stuff. And this team looks and feels young. I think within a year or two, this team could be one of the most feared defensive teams in the league. At times, they seem to be everywhere. Wow

Yes agree, we're kind of on the way to be respectable. Remember teams that contend for a Championship need character and chemistry, and then talent.

When you have guy's that really play hard tough defense and really hustle in the limited minutes they play, (like Mr. Crowder), that team will draw other plays of the same ilk.

That said, We will hit a few bumps, but we'll also leave a few bumps on other teams.

Team is well coached and competing, hard. It's hard not to love it. We came from trying to lose games to get a pick to now developing the talent we have and it's working pretty darn well.

This squad in itself may not be Playoff worthy, but you can see character being developed. And boy, have I said enough about the coaching? Absolutely fantastic.
