Crowder has been playing well. AB solid again.

Good win.

Did young play better tonight ?

Yeah. He looked like he was playing basketball. No head in the clouds or waiting passively tonight.

*He had 8 points and 5 boards in 19 minutes.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

Would have much rather beaten the Lakers and lost to the Suns, but I'll take it.

Zebras had something to do with that loss.

True, but when your opposition rolls out a starting lineup of: Robert Sacre, Carlos Boozer, Ryan Kelly, Wayne Ellington, and Jordan Clarkson, you really shouldn't lose anyway.

Did young play better tonight ?
He did.  Put the ball on the floor when the defense forced him to, almost drew a couple of 3 pt plays, 4 rebounds I believe.  He was pretty solid.

Thanks, I was hoping some of that flash he showed in Maine would surface for Celtics

I love this 1/2 rotation of IT2, Smart and Bradley. It's undersized, but man can be effective on both ends of the court depending on the matchup. I think the Celtics found their closer with IT2, if he was 5 inches taller he would be a top 10 player in the NBA.

Young may be finally getting comfortable just as Marcus hits the rookie wall.

Is IT what peak Nate Robinson would be or something better?

Suns management have thrown in the towel but the players are still trying, which makes this one of the better wins of the Stevens era.  Coming off an overtime loss to a garbage team, they almost choke it away again but pull out the win.

I just discovered AB and IT both from Tacoma WA and grew up in the same neighborhood. They've known each other since junior high and played on same AAU team. That's interesting.

Maybe I was the last person to know that.

Mike

Both are short and both played for Washington. Both good FT shooters.

Nate was more explosive and a better athlete ( dunk contest athletic and starter on a Huskies football team as a freshman), but IT is the more complete offensive player and more consistent scorer.

The biggest difference, to me, is IT's handles. He just has that ball on a string, especially at the top of his dribble. More assists too.

IT is a little ninja... He's an assassin!....cold-blooded!!

That impressed me more than anything.

Boston is going to love Thomas.
