Possibly a low risk tryout. Personally I think Crowder's better & he's already here.

It might be a worth a gamble but several teams have gave up on this kid and there has to be some issues with him.

With Sullinger out sign me up. Capable 4th rotation big with the size and strength to provide rim protection. Somehow I feel like the Lakers, Knicks will have the inside track for signing buyout guys.

Ehh, he's not really a rim protector but has shown he can at least be an effective rebounder. With Sullinger out, I could see Danny giving him a call for that reason alone.

I was a huge fan when he was at Kansas. It's a shame it hasn't worked out for Thomas.

You might be right, but I still don't understand why the Lakers and Knicks should have the inside track on anyone at this point. Yeah, they're big-market teams, but they suck. And the only personnel draws are Old Kobe and Overrated Carmelo.

who do we let go for him or sanders if we want either? i think pressey, shav, and datome are the end of the bench and most easy to waive but I doubt we do it to any of them. i think we ride with what we have.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Ya as I wrote that I did say to myself, why? Both of those teams are hot garbage.

But then you hear people like Lamarcus Aldridge saying he'd love to play in NY. Ya realize it's not just the flashy players who want to play there, everyone loves MSG.

I remember a game where he had around 15 rebounds and he was providing excellent defense the whole time. With some stability he could become a fine defensive player.

SB Nation's Blazer site was trying to find comps for him and one that could be sneaky good is homeless man's Dennis Rodman. It's dangerous to think of him in such big shoes but he's actually not far off in size and body type to the worm.

This guy has "Brad Stevens reclamation project" stamped on his forehead. Can we afford to sign anyone else without going over the cap? Do we have an open roster spot?

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
The other day someone tweeted that he was speaking with 5 teams (none of which are the Celtics).

I think they will give Jerebko a chance to earn minutes immediately then Olynyk will play a lot when he comes back next week.

I'd like Robinson, but I doubt it happens.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

No, we don't have a spot after the Pistons trade, we took 2 for 1 when we did have a spot.

I think he would be worth taking a flyer on. I would rather have him than Randolph, Datome or Pressey. he has not been in a situation where he really got regular playing time.

With Sully out, I would give a 23 year old top 5 pick a chance to prove himself. If he flames out, what do we lose ? The players I mentioned above are at best, deep bench players on a good team.

One big week for the Knicks makes you a superstar. Remember Jeremy Lin? A big month got him a three year poison pill contract. Everyone started to take Steph Curry seriously after 54 at MSG. The Knicks may suck, but anything becomes a story there. Good playing gets you so much positive media coverage, and the social proof kicks in. Positive media coverage is just what bought-out journeymen need, and it doesn't hurt if you're a superstar, either.

And why not take a flyer on T-Rob, especially with Sully out?
